Hi there. I'm tired today as we were in Oklahoma City yesterday. That is a 4 hour drive one way from where we live. My husband had to get a MRI done on his right shoulder and rib area. He had a injury from work last October and broke his collar bone. His collar bone has healed but he is having some discomfort in his shoulder and rib area so the doctor he went to scheduled him a MRI for yesterday. The results showed that he had a partial torn ligament by his rotar cuff. So far he doesn't half to have surgery but he has to do physical therapy for 5 weeks and then go back to Oklahoma City to the doctor to see how the ligament looks. I am hoping and praying that the physical therapy will help it heal. Enough about that. Its a cloudy, cool 66, and rainy day here. Makes me sleepy. I hope you are having a good day. I am just been busy doing laundry and took a 30 minute trip to Walmart, that is the nearest big town from us that has one. I don't mind going there as that is where our son and his finace' live. Well I had better get off of here. I had lunch on the way home from getting groceries so I think I will take a nap. Take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon. Hugs to you, Cheryl
I am getting everything ready for work tomorrow. We had a trace of rain just before daylight and another trace of rain mid afternoon. It might have totaled 1/10" but it kept our temperatures in the low to mid 80's today. I'll try to post a bulletin before I leave in the morning!
Let's start this middle of the week off right! Coffee and a wonderful view!
I am hoping with the cooler weather and possibility of rain, that some of my almost dead plants will start to bloom again.
The cooler temperatures do make for a more beautiful sunrise. A few days ago, I looked up and it was brilliant outside but by the time I got there with my camera, the colors had faded some.
It has been a very long time since we have seen a misty morning. However, in Texas we gladly look forward to every drop of moisture.
Anyway, I hope you have a Blessed Wednesday and enjoy the rest of this week. I will be working on Thursday! Thank you for your friendship! Fategrandma
Ran errands yesterday most of the day. I got a haircut and Rbt got an adjustment at the Chiropractor. We ate hamburgers at the Mexican food restaurant as they are the best around. Then went to Costco for a few things. We have Cue Streaming service and with it we get all channels for one low price of $59.99 a month. I think I sent you an invite to it but if you are interested let me know!

Did do you do anything special for 9/11 Pam? We went to the American Legion to meet up with the Patriot Riders whose last stop was there, but by the time we got there, they were gone. We stayed and had something to eat - I had shrimp and Rich a hot dog and he had a beer. Friends of our were there already and were gonna go but stayed for a while since we were there, then our other friends showed up. We all left together after they had something to eat and a couple drinks. I made steak for dinner and it was good. Now spending a quiet evening. Would you believe I couldn't watch the Cowboy game last nite after waiting all day? Channel 10 has been block out for a while due to contract settlements. I can't believe they couldn't get this done before football season as it's been going on for months. Have a good est of the week Pam. Hugs, WEndy
Tuesday cuteness! Saw this cute graphic and thought it looks so much like the new puppy my friends in Lubbock just picked up Saturday.
Meet Rosie! They have been waiting about a year for the conception and birth. Then they got to pick the one of 6, 3 boys & 3 girls, that they wanted.
Nicole and Michelle came over with my son, Wayne, and DIL, Evelyn, on Saturday afternoon. They all 4 get their haircuts in FATE.
Wayne and I sat outside on the patio filming the 15-20 hummingbirds in the backyard. We loved watching them fly with their tail spread out and the males red throats in the sunshine. These two are females.
This Hummingbird is showing off his tail feathers. You can see the white at the bottom of each one.
There are 3 hummingbirds in this picture. One you can almost see the red throat. When the sun hits them just right, the red is brilliant. Counting my blessings one by one.
