I did finish reading a book today. Like A River was really a wonderful book to read. First one I have held in my hand in a long time. Now I will go back to Kindle. Watching college football now. Have a good evening and hope you feel better. Love Ya!

I decided not to go to the lodge tonite. Wasn't feeling to good earlier and so too a Motrin 800 and am now feeling better. Rich went and all our friends are there and when he called I could hear everyone having a good time. Oh well, there will be other good times. I didn't do hardly anything today - unloaded the dishwasher while Rich was having PT in the bedroom. Have no plans for the weekend and have a f/u doc appointment to get the results of the CAT scan I had yesterday. Hope the pinneapple didn't inferfer with it. I forgot that I think I had to be NPO but what the heck. It's not my stomach. Hope you have some good plans for the weekend. I have none , so we'll see what happens. Hugs, Wendy
Good afternoon. Its a breezy and cool 61* here. Tonight is supposed to get down to 38*. Got any plans for the weekend? We do. Going to Trey(our son) and his girlfriends wedding at 11. Its just a small gathering of friends and family. Nothing big. But I will post pictures, probably on Sunday or Monday. We are going to be dog sitting for them while they go out of town for a few days. Well enjoy the rest of your afternoon my friend and take care. Hugs, Cheryl
Got plans this weekend, Wendy? I'm sure, as usual, you do:) Ours is to finish outside trim work. One more chore done:) Have a super today enjoying the season! Hope your scan results are good.
Good Morning Pal, what was the CT scan for? That Firehouse sandwich sure sounds good. I didn't know they were offering that kind. It's probably seasonal. That's one of our favorite places to go. We've had very pleasant temps in the mornings until today ...that humidity is back. The afternoons have still been hot, around 90 or higher. We have a wedding to attend tomorrow so won't get to watch our game until we get home, will set it to record. Happy weekend.
Good afternoon to you. Its a nice day here, a little breezy and 76* . Not a lot going on here, just doing some housework. Have it almost done. How is your day going? Well enjoy the rest of your day and evening my friend and take care. Hugs, Cheryl
Today is takey-outey day for our main meal... BBQ sammies. Made vinegar slaw this morning to top it off. I love days I don't see much of the kitchen:) Have a great Thursday, Wendy!
Oh my list is so long that I don't even know where to start. Our Medicare Specialist went over the new plans for next year and we are saving $$$.
It started raining last night about 9:15 pm and rained on and off until after 5 am this morning. Yes, we are ever so THANKFUL. The big cracks in the yard are now very small and shallow. What a Blessing!
I am always thankful for coffee. I love the smell of it much more than I do drinking it. However, I love drinking it too!
There is nothing like love jumping on you when you walk in the door. I am not sure we will ever get another pet or dog but at the same time, I can't imagine life without one.
I am so blessed by all the friends that I have and have had some of them 40-50 years or more. New and long time friends mean the world to me!
The journey hasn't always been smooth but I am so grateful for the road we are on now and where He has led us. Glad you are part of it too!
Hi there Wendy. This isn't your normal wedding. Just a simple gathering of friends and family to see our son and his lady to exchange their vows. I have a nice pair of blue slacks, a pink top and a blue flowered thing to go over the pink top. I will hopefully be able to have someone take a picture of all of us. Its a cloudy and cool day here today. I'm enjoying it. Nice Fall weather. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Take care my friend and hugs to you, Cheryl
I hope you are all ready for the wedding on Saturday Cheryl. Do you have your dress and shoes? You'll have to post of pic of the 4 of you when you have time next week. We went to dinner at his brother's house for dinner tonite - had raviolis meatballs and sauce - I brought a nice crisp salad. Everything was good. Missed the bread though - Richie's brother doesn't eat bread as he's diabetic and the pasta is enough. I'm pre and Rich is but his is controlled with Ozempic once a week - that's the shot you give yourself. I take a pill. But we eat what we want and we just had some apple crisp with whipped cream. I need something sweet after I do Italian. Enjoy a good nite's sleep. Hugs, WEndy
