Let's go! We are heading in the right direction. 105°-107° on Friday and then cooler weather and possible rain heading our way!
Hopefully it means the end of summer and 100+ weather is coming to an end. We want to replace this bright sunshine and sunglasses too.
We want to get out the umbrellas for a while instead even if the sun peeks through on some days.
Now I am not one to carry an umbrella even though I do have 2 in my car. FYI, I don't wear a jacket of any kind either. Don't know where that came from!
After all, anything will do to keep a little of the rain off your head and then there is getting the wet umbrella back in the car.
However, if you need an umbrella, I will gladly get it out and share it with you. That's why I carry it in the car. It is just what friends do for each other.
Good afternoon to you. Its a wonderful day here. I'm enjoying it. Its only 85* here but tomorrow its going to hit 100*. I wish this weather would make up its mind. I like the cooler days. Good evening Pam - Are you happy now that the holiday is over, or was it no big thing for you? I know things are just not the same as it was years ago when we all had bbq's and family and friends who got together. Now it seems just to be another day. Guess that's what happens when you get older and family each has different diretions to go. Went to the VFW for a meeting tonite but didn't stay that long after the meeting was over - just long enough to eat. They had scalloped potatoes, subs, chicken salad sandwiches, salads - potato and pasta. Didn't stay long as our friend just had her knee replaced and was beginning to feel uncomfortable so we left right after them and were home around 9. Earlier this afternoon I got a shot in my eye and it still hurts and I don't see as well out of it as I have in the past but tomorrow it'll be much better. Whoa! What a way to start a Wednesday! Is there anything more beautiful than the beach? Where else would you choose to go today?
Even though I am not much of a water person, a trip to the lake is always beautiful too. Which do you prefer? They are both so beautiful, each in their own way.
How about a trip to the mountains where we can find a cler, cool stream and watch the colors of fall as they start to change? Are you up for that?
There is nothing like a waterfall even if there are no other colors but the rock that surrounds it. Oh! and the sounds it makes cascading down!
We might be lucky enough to see a couple of moose wandering down the stream with the mountains in the background surrounded by the colors of Fall as the evening shadows start to appear.
Let's end the day with a full moon as it reflects on a stream that is slowly rippling as it makes its way downstream. It has been a perfect day! Thanks for coming along with me, my friend.
I kept trying to find a graphic for Monday... and then I'm like wait, yesterday was Monday and today is already Tuesday; tomorrow is hump day.
No wonder time flies by so fast. The days, weeks, months and years just keep getting faster and faster. Sit back and enjoy the view.
If you do get out and about, be sure to share the love, just sprinkle it wherever you go every day. Then it will come back to you tenfold.
We also win when showing love to others. If you see someone who needs help, stop what you are doing and help them. It may take some effort on your part or take away from your day, but it will be a big win for you both.
Grab hold and ride the winds on a cloud and see where the Holy Spirit leads you and what Blessings you will encounter. It may be obvious right away or later on down the road but the trip will be worth it.

Good afternoon and Happy Labor Day. Are you doing anything for today? We aren't. Just a normal day here as Tony had to work. I went shopping for the things we needed this week. Walmart wasn't to bad. Its a hot and breezy day here. Its 100* and feels like 97*. I took out the trash a little while ago and the heat is awful with the wind. Feels like a blow dryer going outside. Sunday morning, slight breeze with clouds around but no rain for us.
I think I lost another rose bush (this is NOT my rose, but I wish it was).
Then the Blessings came down from Heaven. We got 1/2" in this downpour and another 1/10" during the night when our electricity was off for 2 hours.. Thank you all for the prayers that were answered.
