I do love to read with soft soothing music in the background. Lately, every time I think about reading, I start yawning. Maybe because I have been staying up too late at night.
The later it gets and the closer my supposedly bedtime approaches, it always seems that I get a second wind. Or someone will call and I am wide awake. Tonight will be my "catch up" on sleep night, unless I can find a good movie. And I did find one and I loved talking to you this morning! hehehe

What have you been up to? It's gray and damp here with off and on rain. Yesterday was a good day to stay in and work on inside chores so I cleaned out my craft box and a rolling cart that had some very old craft supplies in it. Threw away lots of old stuff. Hubby cleaned out some old bills too. Then I made a pot roast with veggies for supper and that was my whole exciting day. haha! Talk to you soon. Wednesday hugs, Beth
Hi there. Its a rather warm day here but not to bad with the breeze that is blowing. Did some running around this morning and then came home put everything away , then had some errands to do. Just got home a little while ago. Laundry is going and I have dishes to do, but I wanted to leave comments first. Going to be a warm and windy week here. Doesn't feel much like Fall. I'm sorry about your 'puter biting the dust, Wendy. I get antsy thinking about it. Glad you have another to fall back on til yours can be repaired/replaced. But another's is always foreign to use, isn't it. Today is Tuesday. Tomorrow will be Saturday. Hurry! ... enjoy the week!

Of course we can make the best of this day and choose to do that every day. Do I get frustrated? Sure! Do I have a bad day? Sure! But not for very long.
And I have lots of "bad hair" days! But on those days, I just don't look in the mirror.
So if you have a bad day, find something or someone who will put a smile on your face. Or go out and do something you really like to do that is fun.
After all, a dog, a cat, an animal, a friend, etc. can all turn your day around and make you smile. Then go share that smile with others and make their day bright too.
Busy day! Ran errands in the morning and did lots in the afternoon. Very little sleep as we had 5 different thunder and lightning storms roll through between 9 pm and 5 am. We were Blessed with 1" rain! Sweet Dreams!
Good afternoon my friends. Its a beautiful Fall Day here. Its 84* here and feels wonderful. Going to be a warm week here and I don't like that. But there is nothing I can do about it. How is your Monday going? Mine has been good. Just been busy doing housework and cleaning the coffee pot. Well its a one cup coffee maker. I don't drink coffee my husband does. And did you know that HEB is going to build a grocery store about 4 miles from our house? It will open in Spring of 2025.
Have you ever been to a Hot Air Balloon launch? We used to go when we first moved here. It is always an on and off launch because we usually have too much wind for them to launch. I love the nighttime when the Balloon "glow"!
Sounds like Ophelia did bring you some substantial wind. I don't like that stuff. The first red leaf is on our maple. I hope this year all our trees will shine in their dresses, wherever we're all located, Wendy. *hugs*
Hello Pal, it sounds like Ophelia brought you about the same as Idalia did here, but more rain than we got. My old washer, the one that just broke was a top loader but it was a high effiency. I hated it because it would constantly reset the washing time. It was compterized and nothing you could really do but wait till it finished. We always said we had to baby sit it the whole time. I used to have the front loading kind and hubby did have it setting up on something to elevated it slightly but I still had to stand on my head to use it. lol. But yes, if you ever have to get another one make sure it's a top loader. We got a new GE model yesterday and it's the kind I had for years that draws water as deep as it needs to. I love it. We stopped on the way home at Firehouse subs and got lunch. I made pork chops for supper too. Oh about the voting each person does get 2 votes. One vote for the plain pages (like mine and yours) and one vote for the pages that use pre-made layouts. Hope your day and the new week is good!
