The weekend has arrived and now we await cooler temperatures and rain but it won't be here for our Labor Day weekend.  

I love when the flags are out everywhere in the neighborhood.  Flags fly Free!  

I hope you have fun with friends and family this long weekend and make wonderful memories.

Well its finally the last day of August. I'm hoping September will be cooler. The mornings are cool here, but the afternoon gets up in the 90's . I think I will change my page to Fall. good morning Pal, did you see that super Blue Moon last night?  It was so beautiful and so bright as it was rising above the tree line. The storm hit yesterday about 100 miles from us and we only got gusty wind and rain as were on the west side of it. We did not lose power thankfully. Did you get any rain from it?   My brother and his GF vacation at the place that got hit the hardest and they showed on the news the streets were under water.  Everything closed here, even the post office but it had blown north and the sun was out by 2 pm.  What have you been up to/  I'm catching up on laundry today. Fun times. Haha. Have a good Thursday.

Thursday always produces a smile because the weekend is in sight.  This is the last day of August.  Are you ready for a new month?  I will be working tomorrow to start September off right.  

We have survived the last six weeks of heat and we hope to say goodbye to it along with the month of August.  

We are ready to welcome a new month, a new season and new colors into our lives.  

I am ready for flowers to be blooming again but first we need rain and lots of it. 

The Blue Super Moon has been beautiful the last 3 nights and I do love taking pictures of it.  

I am ready and waiting with my camera phone charged.  Miracles happen after a good thunder and lightning show with lots of rain.
