I went to a thrift store this morning looking for cooler tops to wear. I found a few t-shirts that weren't thick or black. Not much else going on just doing the laundry. Hey Pal, I accidentally deleted your comment before I replied to it but I know you said Bathfitters was there all day and coming back today to finish. They do work straight through till they finish, I remember that. Maybe if 2 of them come today they will get done quicker. Yes, Rich can use that shower now and stop complaining to you. lol. Had to take my Honda to the shop again this morning, third time since June. They are not fixing the problem with the AC so we took it to another place that hubby was familiar with. I had a good birthday, got so many nice gifts and had 2 cakes. The girls brought me a Bath and Body gift card, a Pooh wallet, a key chain and tiny bar of Winnie the Pooh Hunny soap. Its too cute to open. I added it to my Pooh collection. They also brought me a small chocolate cake from Publix bakery. So good, and so chocolatey! I got Amazon gift cards as well, some Bath and Body products from the kids and a new Tervis insulated coffee tumbler. Jeff (my twin) and I usually do gift cards for each other. He gave me one this year but I gave him a fountain/waterer for his chickens. he had been needing one. He uses old dishpans to water them and they stand in them to cool off I guess and get them so dirty. They can't stand in the new fountain, it hangs on a hook and is the old fashioned kind that's galvanized. It's made in the USA so it will last. Hubby is outside tinkering around, have to go to the store soon for a resupply on so many things. Better get going and finish laundry first. love, from me.
Good afternoon my friend.Its a hot Monday here. Already up to 97* I hope you are staying cool where you are. I'm in the house enjoying the cool air from the air conditioner. Sounds like is going to be in the 100's most of the week. Had a nice weekend. Saturday was my husband's birthday. We didn't do anything special. Just stayed at home. good morning Pal, well your BBQ place sounds so yummy. If he won Top Chef, he's got to be talented. LOL at the Fred Flintstone meat! He used to eat Dinosaur steaks or something so they were pretty big! Love having leftovers too, to take home for later. There's a new BBQ place here we learned about recently but havent been yet. Hope to go soon, may go for hubby's birthday next weekend. We'll see how it goes. We usually just go out once for our b-days, combined, I guess you'd say. We got pizza, wings and breadsticks yesterday and that cost as much as going out! I was all set to go to church but it was storming like crazy when it was time to go so I talked myself out of it. I have the Lemon cake ready and chiling. My brother will be up later to share it with me and the girls are coming to visit too.

Sunday is not always a day of rest. But it is always a day for coffee and Blessings from God.
So today the fence should be sprayed with Wood Defender Cedar Color Stain. It is not cheap but I will be at work tomorrow to help pay for this so check the bulletins for my daily updates.
However, there are days that I am not sure I know anything at all. Do you have days like that?
Well, if you do, come on over. I will pour you a cup of coffee and we will sit on the porch and talk about solving all the problems of the world.
After all that is what friends are for each and every day, rain or shine or blistering hot Texas weather.
