One of my favorites, Popeye, turned 90 earlier this month! Glad he's still around:) And Miss Olive Oyl, too. Not a "greens" fan, but like tasty dishes made w/it. How 'bout you, Wendy?
Think on these things ... not the heat, Wendy:) I saw on the weather that you may be getting a lot of the smoke from the wildfires in CA. Hope y'all can stay indoors if it bothers you. *hugs*
Good afternoon to you. Its a rather warm Monday afternoon here. Its 97* and feels like 99*. To hot for me. I hope you are staying cool also. Had a nice weekend, didn't do anything special. Just tried to stay in where is was cool at. Not much going on here just taking it easy. You do the same and stay cool. Take care and hugs from me. Cheryl
May your Monday day be ever so nice to you as your doing your daily duties. We are abit cool up north for we just might make it to 70 for the temp sometime today. Cant believe that July is half over already and it just started. Enjoying all the moments of summer as the late summer flowers are now starting to bloom in the flower beds. Smiles Gloria

Hey Pal, did y'all get the stuff burned that you needed to get rid of? Hubby has a burn pit too and we burn old mail in it mostly and sometimes yard debris. Speaking of that, got home from visting family yesterday to a yard full of small tree limbs. A bad storm hit while we were gone and power had been out briefly. We've had so much rain and storms and I'm ready for some dry weather. Yes, vitamins are crazy expensive. I buy the store brand when I can. I realized Walmart's brand, at least some of them, are made in China so stopped buying those. Sometimes they're cheaper on Amazon, depends on what you get I suppose. No, I don't keep the girls, I said I was taking care of their hens while they were out of town on vacation. They are homeschooled too. Yesterday we went to visit hubby's brother and his gf. She made Spaghetti for a late lunch and it was very good. As we wer leaving the storms were rolling in down there and when we got home they had already hit this area. Supposed to get sun today and that will help dry us out. Have a good new week! love n hugs, Beth
It is already Sunday! Oh my! Well, time for me to start getting ready for my last 4 weeks.
Yesterday morning I was outside watering shortly after 7 am. By 9 am I was dripping wet and as I was finishing up, I saw a couple of beautiful butterflies. Yes, they were ORANGE and I got a good video too.
Have you looked around today to see the beauty right near you today? A picture is worth a thousand words.
Anytime of the day and any season of weather or season of life, there is always something beautiful to behold.
So I hope before this Sunday is over, you have looked around to find all things beautiful and smiled!!!
hello, enjoy SUNDAY in the company of your loved ones, because a day surrounded by your FAMILY is worth more than all the GOLD in the WORLD. have a lot of fun, kisses, maria, take care
We were 102° earlier and at 6:30 pm we have dropped to 93°. Enjoy your rain. We could sure use some as hot as it has been. Yea! no cooking!

hi Pam - Hopey ou are having a good and relaxing Saturday. I know how it is to be off after a hard week of work. So just do your thing and get some relaxing in too. it's been a lazy day for me - put some clothes in the dryer and then went uptown to get vitamins and suppliments for me. Got caught in the middle of a big thunderstorm on the way home. Not unusual when we have high temps. It was so hot an muggy this morning and is still 89 but the sun is trying to come out. Our friend called and asked us to go with them tonite to dinner to celebrate his birthday - so no cooking againfor me. Have a good afternoon Pam and take care. Hugs, Wendy
