I survived Friday! It was supposed to be an easy day... Well, I always find stuff to do and can't just leave things undone or not finish a project.
I was like, "Don't bother me. I am on a roll and working hard to finish what I started."
Besides, if you stay busy it makes the time fly. I didn't even finish my coffee until 2:30 and ate my sandwich while putting labels on brochures. I just hate lazy people that hide from work and don't do what needs to be done.
Now, it is like nothing to worry about on Monday except on to the next project ~ woo hoo! I am just enjoying the weekend. The yard got mowed and the rains came! God is good!
The Longhorn girls won their softball game yesterday and the Longhorn boys won their second game of the weekend yesterday. But today they both play at the same time across the street from each other in Austin.

Yeah its Friday and we don't have to wake up early in the morning. Its a cool 54* here and cloudy. Had some rain almost all night long and this morning. Can't belive tomorrow is already Friday. This week has flown by. I need to put bird seed in the bird feeder. I keep forgetting to do that. What are your favorite smells? Coffee is one of mine. However, the smell of the seashore brings back some fun memories too. Unless there are dead fish!

From the wide open spaces to the waterfalls in the forest. That sure has a unique scent to it too.
And yet, not all water smells the same. Rain has a scent of its own and we have had lots of rain lately. As I think to myself, What a Wonderful World.

I have been asleep early the last 2 nights and tomorrow is my day off. Then back to work Friday. I have laundry, bills to pay, yard needs to be mowed but it might still be too wet, groceries to buy... and probably a hundred other things to do tomorrow. It was stupid as I saw the PA, who I always go to anyway, but there was nothing that they could do - all she did was look over my discharge to see if any new meds were order - and they were. Waste of my time and money and a money making thing for them. Stopped at the Coast Guard base tog et baby asprin - should have been taking it upon discharge but didn't know it. They didn't have any so we stopped at DG and got it there. I was hungry, so we stopped down the street for sosme lunch. While there, we called to see if we could get hair appointments - she took us right away. Rich needed a much overdue haircut and I needed mine washed - can't bend over in the sink to do it and can't take a shower till the bandage comes off Thurs. Can't wait to be able to take a shower!! I did really good and while out and hope I tired myself out so I can sleep tonite. Was up from 3 to 5 last nite. If you have to work sin the AM, I hope your day goes smoothly. We were out of town on Monday, went to see our son on Tuesday morning and when I got home I was to tired to leave comments. So here I am finally. Had a rain shower early this morning.
