I hope the dog gets to go too because after all, he is man's best friend. A father, a child, and a dog together would be a perfect weekend with BBQ of course.

good morning Pal, well I see what you mean about your bathroom and the floor situation, sounds like it would defintitely involve 2 different contractors. Yes, we had Bathfitters here a few years ago to do our only bathroom. My house is so old, i'm surprised it even had ONE bathroom. lol. It was built in 1918 and had 4 fireplaces in it, a breezeway, a north facing pantry and a wrap around porch like homes did back then. Everything to take advantage of the slightest breeze in this hot climate. We've done lots of work over the years but never added another bathroom. Hubby is planning to close in an area of he front porch to make a walk-in closet and I wish he would put a half bath on one side of it. We'll see how it goes. The seafood place sounds really good and just my kind of place. We are fortunate enough to live in a place like you, where we can get fresh seafood often. I prefer to get it when we visit the coast to make sure it's good and fresh. Oh, you asked about the modem. I haven't had one because I stopped my service with the company I was using. The bill was high and I could use my hotspot (on my cellphone) for the internet for only $10 extra per monthon my Verizon bill (modem and service was 70!) Lately it hasn't been enough though, because they cap the data after a certain point in the month. Anyway we are back in business now and it's great. Hope your weekend is good!

And this one could have large hail and lots of wind. So I'm not looking forward to that. I've already said a prayer for not having a bad storm. Hubby didn't make it to the grocery store but I did. It only took me 2 hours inside the store. At least he helped put things away. I was exhausted!

There is beauty all around the world. Look at that sunrise on the beach. Can you feel the sand between your toes and the cool water?
Maybe you prefer the mountains. As the sun rises, you can feel the cool breeze and you can see beautiful animals begin to move around.
Now as summertime arrives, we can feel the heat and the humidity. But there is still beauty to be found all around us... just go back to that flower. hehehe
We will probably say goodbye to the rain as summer takes over. It has been beautiful while it lasted this year except for those who got damaging hail.

Hey Pal, couldnt finish my comments yesterday as my internet kept crashing. Supposed to get my high speed modem back today thank goodness! Been using the hot spot on my phone for the last few months. I know you're glad the dryers are all gone and you are at least able to use your bedroom. Did y'all decide to use Bathfitters or not? I know they are expensive but if they come they will pull out the old shower when they put the new one in, they did for us. Yep, it's expensive to eat out anymore, even for cheeseburgers. We haven't been to Ruby Tuesday in a long time, not one close to us but we used to go all the time to the one in Niceville when we picked up and dropped off my granddaughter. No plans here for Father's day, will probably give hubby a gift card for somewhere he likes to eat like Roadhouse. We had bad storms blow though the area last night but the worst ones stayed to our north and west. We did not lose power but much of S. Ga did and we are not far from there at all. We had gusty winds and an inch of rain with limbs down in our yard but nothing too severe and I'm thankful. Hope Rich changes his mind about the condo, I think you'll both be happier where you're at but I do undestand about all the maintenance outside. we hve a huge yard and it's a never ending task. I wouldnt' trade it for anything though. The wildlife is enjoyable and so peaceful to watch. Hope your day is good. huggies from soggy FL!
