Good afternoon. Its a warm afternoon here. Already up in the 80's and going to hit 90 today. I'm not ready for it to be in the 90's. I like in the low 80's. I'm more of a Spring and Fall person. Not much going on here. Got all my housework done. I mowed some last night with the push mower while my hubby worked on the riding lawn mower. The grass is to tall in the back yard and made it hard to mow. Boy was I tired when I only got half of it done. Hopefully Tony, my husband, can do the rest of it on Sunday. Well take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon and your weekend. Lots of hugs to you, Cheryl
Hi there. Its been a busy day here. Got my laundry all done and put away. Vaccumed the floors as they needed it. And went to Walmart after lunch and got home a little while ago. Its a warm afternoon here. Kind of humid from all the rain we got last week. My husband found the electric push mower in the garage and used it last night to get the front lawn mowed. It looks so nice and green from all the rain. He still has the riding lawn mower to get fixed. I hope you are having a good afternoon my friend. I will go for now. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day. Many hugs to you, Cheryl
Good afternoon:) Hope you spend a productive day doing something interesting; at least a chore you don't mind:) And lookie, it's Friday Eve, Wendy! 😁 Hope things are dried out now. *hugs*
Hey Pal, hope your hip is feeling better. Don't overdo. I know you'll be glad to get the bathroom and the floor fixed and get things back to normal. We had off and on storms yesterday. I needed to go to the store but didnt' want to drive in that weather so just stayed home and dug out some fish sticks froom the freezer for supper and we made do. On Tues. I cleaned out 4 bags of clothes and junk from my bedroom closet. It sure felt good to get rid of all that, will take it to Goodwill later today. I can almost see what I'm looking for in the closet now. haha. Yesterday I went through lots of old mail and bank statements that I took out of that closet and discarded them too. Good Lord that stuff piles up over the years, huh? Well I better get going on my errand run. Talk to you soon. Have a good Thursday!
I'm back after my computer went on the fritz for a couple of days. How are you and how have you been these last few days? Not much has changed around here. Still have the dryers and humidifiers in the bathroom and under the house. Hope they will do the trick before the people come to put in the new shower or else that will have to be moved back and the man put in a rush order for us. That's about all that's new on this end. How are things with you. I thought both you and your husband were retired. I didn't know hw still worked. What kid of work does he do? Have a good nite Cheryl. Hugs, Wendy
Hi there. I wasn't well yesterday. I had some sort of stomach bug. But feeling much better today. No we aren't retired. I'm a housewife and Tony, my husband, is a mechanic.I am 57 and he is 55. He will be having a birthday next month. Not much going on here. Just have the clothes in the dryer as I went to a thrift store late this morning and didn't get back home until after 1 p.m. Well I will go for now and get on with the other comments for today. How are you doing? Take care my friend and lots of hugs to you, Cheryl
Good Afternoon and welcome to summer! My girls got back after their vacation trip to Myrtle Beach and all around the South East.
They stopped by on the way home to share pictures. So I have uploaded some new pictures on my home page. I am sure enjoying all the new pages on The Hill with cute and beautiful pictures. I don't change my main page but I do try to update pictures and hope you enjoy them.
I am hoping that all the fires in Canada have been put out now. Any fire is a scary time and I hope none of you were affected personally. It is time for me to start getting ready for work tomorrow and Friday. Be sure to check the bulletins on the days that I am working.
Share your smile and kindness with others. Blessings upon Blessings to you my friend!
Welcome Back, Wendy:) Hey, that's kinda like: "Computer heal thyself", isn't it. ha As summer sneaks in the back door, I aspire to be as content as these kiddens:) Happy *hugs*
Hey Princess - Did you get a new computer? Rbt does bring me my second cup of cofee! She finally resigned! I love working for Kelly but I do get tired easier and it takes me longer to recover. But with AC and fence bills, I need the $$$

I start my day with a cup of coffee every morning when I finally make it out of bed. Rich always gets it for me and will heat it up in the microwave if it's cold. So I just sit on the sofa and he waits on me like the princess I am! I'm trying not to choke on that myself - so I'll wait till you get back to the computer after finding a tissue. So how long do you think you'll have to work? What's up with this gal anyway? Hasn't she missed enough time that she can't be fired? I'll tell you what, she would have been gone a long time ago if she worked in Jersey. Yes, I know the money is nice, but it takes you away form your home and helping out at your home. Rich had Lodge tonite and brought me home a hamburger with lettuce and tomato, potato salad and baked beans and twinkies for dessert. I had made some hamburger soup but put it away - we'll have it tomorrow nite. Have a peaceful nite's sleep. Take care, hugs, Wendy
Wednesday, half way through the week. Yesterday we had new AC units installed upstairs and outside. Today temperatures will begin in the 90's in our area.
The yard looks beautiful. Hubby got most of the yard edged and I got front and back mowed. The daily popup showers did not come near us but everyday there is a slim chance.
My strawberry plants have produced a few already this year. I gave one to Livvy last week and she cried all the way home for more. It was the only one at the time. I have shared with several other people since then including the one I dropped that Carly got.
Today is all about catching up on things around the house with a smile on my face. Maybe this and maybe that but probably not... if you know what I mean.
Now I am heading outside to check out the flowers and see who needs water the most. Also to see if I can get a picture of the Blue Jay that flew off as the camera was ready to capture him. Hummingbird feeders probably need new food too. Come sit for a while with me!
Glad you are up and running, Wendy. Sometimes when computers are doing updates, they can really slow down and cause other issues. Sleepy Wednesday! Hugs
Hello, today is going to be a great day for YOU, you just have to enjoy all the little pleasures that surround you. I wish you a happy Wednesday. Enjoy what you have...
while what you want so much arrives. With love, from Maria, take care of yourself, big kisses
