Good afternoon. Its a windy and warm, 82* here. Supposed to get up to almost 90*.That is to warm for me. But its cool in my house so it won't bother me. I hope you are having a good afternoon and not doing to much. I went to Walmart this morning and got the things we needed. Yesterday was such a busy day and I was tired by the time I got home that I didn't do comments on here. Well take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon. Many hugs to you, Cheryl
Hello Pal, sounds like you had a good weekend. We had off and on rain but nothing heavy. It seems to rain every weekend lately. Glad you had a good time at disco night and i enjoyed the pics you shared. Didn't see the girls over the weekend but yesterday we took a picnic to the Lake and they had their dog with them too. She's a very sweet Springer Spaniel. We saw a big gator out in the middle of the lake and I'm so glad he stayed there! It was such a pretty day for a picnic. The park had closed the covered picnic area for cleaning but we sat near the playground. Nothing exciting going on today. Doing laundry and bathing dogs. Hope your hip and shoulder pain are better.
I love that pretty graphic. I mowed and Rbt while Rbt weed eated all around our 3/4 acres. Then I had to water all the plants in pots and the ground as we are very dry. At 75° the sun was very hot but a gentle cool breeze made it a perfect day. It says you joined in 2012 on your profile home page.

How nice that you have a flower that keeps growing that you friend gave you. Now when you look at it, you can always remembr her. I can't remember when I joined NOTH. It was after Eons closed and another member started Boomerville till that closed then I was directed to NOTH. I do love the moon , but I guess my phone camera isn't the best as when I have taken pictures of it, they don't com out sharp at all. It's a nice sunny 68 degree day here and I filled the birdbath and pulled a few weeds whil outside. Still haven't seen any hummers but I'm waiting. Gong to make Shepard's Pie for dinner - last nite it was homemade sloppy joes. Have a beautiful day Pam. Hugs, Wendy
Most of you know I love to take pictures. But to capture the moon like that, you need the right camera.
Even with a phone camera, it takes the right "eye" to "see" the right angle to capture the right picture.
I also just like looking at pictures. I came across this one that had a caption of the name of a plant. This is a Double Angel Trumpet.
A lot of you might not know that plant or remember the name Cricket. She was the first person that asked to be my friend when I joined Not Over The Hill in 2008. The above picture is her Angel Trumpet plant in her front yard.
While Cricket is no longer with us on earth, her Angel Trumpet plant lives on at my home just as she lives on in my heart. She would take cuttings in the fall and root them over the winter. She sent me a couple of cuttings and I still have one growing in a tub. It is inside our garage today because it is cold. It has been pulled in and out (in warmer weather) of our garage so many times over the years (hundreds) and will soon be at home in our backyard in another month when the weather stays warmer.
Every time I spoke to Cricket with all her health trials, she would say she couldn't wait to get to Heaven and have a "Woo Hoo Party" with Jesus. I was blessed by her friendship and I am also blessed by your friendship.
Hello Pal, no we didn't get too much rain. Just enough to help out the garden. Not quite an inch but then more came later that night and the next night. We certainly are getting the April showers. Hubby is always glad so he doesn't have to water the garden. He finally finished the lean to project outside that will back up to the garden. I will send a pic soon. My cats are already enjoying the shade from it and sleeping under it. Your trip to the antique mall sure sounds like fun and something I would enjoy too. Maybe you can go back again to see the rest of it. Such a pretty day here and I have a quilt washed and ready to hang in the sun while we have it. Rain otw tomorrow.
