Good afternoon my friend. Its a lovely day here today. I took a picture of my tulips this afternoon. They have slowly been opening as we have had some cool days. They are still pretty. Hello Pal, what have you been up to?  Hope your shoulder is feeling better. I have awful shoulder pain too and it never occurred to me it could be Bursitis. I do not have pain that radiates down though, it's just pain and stiffness in the shoulder itself. Haven't been on the Hill much this week. Been taking a break from daily computer use as it aggravates that same shoulder.  Yesterday was busy with errands and grocery shopping. Got a big ham for Easter and it's more than we'll need I know. I'll end up freezing what we don't eat and can use it later.   Are you cooking anything special?  I think I may some green beans and red potatoes if I can find some fresh beans.  I also love a coconut pie or cake at Easter but I'm not the best cake maker, I can tell you that.  Hubby has been working on his outdoor consruction project of the lean to and now the hot days have make it necessary to get out there early or late to work so he doesn't completely fry in the FL sun. He won't wear sunscreen no matter how much I tell him to. Men!!  Hope your week has been good so far and I'll catch up with you soon! loveya, Beth

Is there anything more magical than a butterfly?  

Have you ever put a caterpillar in a net Habitat and watched it change into a butterfly?  

Don't laugh... How old is your driver's license picture?  I guess that is why we have to go in person and have a new picture taken every now and then.  

I love seeing how many different colored butterflies I can spot in a day or sometimes it takes me a week to find different ones.  

But again, isn't it magical to see them and even more special to have them land on you.  Do you smell sweet enough to have them land on you?  

Oh look... There is a bee too!

We started the morning at 5 am at 77° and we are now 52° and still dropping.  

I guess we are all in agreement with that statement.  We had a thunderstorm and LOTS of lightning beginning way before daylight as the cold front came through.   

One again, we were blessed.  We were on the very edge and only got 2/10" of rain this morning.  

Spring is here and there are some plants that are showing us their beautiful colors.  However, it is so windy that any tulips that have come up are probably laying on the ground now. 

Sunshine one day and a cold north wind the next.  We have been above 90 and will be back in the 40's for several nights.  

All we can do is share our smile with everyone we meet.  I will be working tomorrow before the long weekend starts on Good Friday.  See you soon.

Welcome to April.  It is the beginning of a new month.  And it is almost time for what?  Easter of course!

I think that Easter has always been my favorite time of year.  As a child, I had a Peter Rabbit that went everywhere I went.  

I remember that Peter Rabbit got left behind in a motel once and had to be mailed back to me.  Did you have a favorite blanket or stuffed animal?  

We have bunnies all around us where we live but my dogs don't like them in our backyard.  When bunnies are discovered, they have to run fast for safety outside of our fence.  

Run! Hide! Seek!  My dogs can still smell you, Mr Bunny!  Do you hide eggs and do you color eggs?
