Last week, Lubbock had 70 mph winds most of the day. Yes, their yard is full of tumbleweeds again.
I know some still have snow and cold temperatures. We had rain this morning (almost 2/10") and are once again completely overcast and dreary. Tomorrow they are warning of tornadoes and hail in the DFW area.
I just walked around outside to take these pictures. Things are popping up all over at my house. So I hope these beautiful colors help cheer you up today with lots of Blessings and Hugs coming your way!

Monday sure does come around often. Where does the weekend go? The good thing today is... SUNSHINE and we did not get any storms last night but my prayers for Oklahoma and the other states that got hit hard. Anne, I am so sorry to hear about how your daughter died - it must be heartbreaking to not know the real circumstances. I know you always remember the good moments you had with her. It's a rainy cold day and I have done nothing but sit and watch recorded shows. Honey had to attened a conference for today only and is on his way home. We'll go out tonite with friends to a cancer benefit and hopefully have a nice time. Thanks for sharing with me about your daughter and I'm sorry that you had to relve those memories again, Anne.
I have a daughter who lives in Texas and another in England. My youngest was a published crime genre writer and I was able to see her more often, even tho' she lived in the Yukon, as she travelled a lot for writers' conferences. She was to visit me the week she died (we still don't know what caused her death - something got her while she was out trekking) and I kept her last email where we were arranging to pick her up. Good Morning from the South Texas brush country! There are times I really miss the Ranch and then I remember all the work it takes.
Just thought I would peek in on you and see what is new with you and your family.
Anything new or anyone new? What time a day do you usually get here? I always think I will start early, then after 2 or 3 hours, I finally get up out of my chair.
Is it breakfast time, lunch time or dinner time? Where in the world does the day go? Time flies by faster the older we get.
The sun is already setting! Are all your chores done or are you just starting them. I haven't colored one picture yet today, so I am out of here.
