Now I am off to refill my coffee and watch some more Longhorn Baseball and Softball. You are welcome to join me. I do hope you will bring something for us to eat though.
Anne, I am so sorry to hear about how your daughter died - it must be heartbreaking to not know the real circumstances. I know you always remember the good moments you had with her. It's a rainy cold day and I have done nothing but sit and watch recorded shows. Honey had to attened a conference for today only and is on his way home. We'll go out tonite with friends to a cancer benefit and hopefully have a nice time. Thanks for sharing with me about your daughter and I'm sorry that you had to relve those memories again, Anne.
I have a daughter who lives in Texas and another in England. My youngest was a published crime genre writer and I was able to see her more often, even tho' she lived in the Yukon, as she travelled a lot for writers' conferences. She was to visit me the week she died (we still don't know what caused her death - something got her while she was out trekking) and I kept her last email where we were arranging to pick her up. I do miss her. Love, Anne

It was 73 and sunny - another nice day. Hope you are well and happy Anne.
Good Morning from the South Texas brush country! There are times I really miss the Ranch and then I remember all the work it takes.
Just thought I would peek in on you and see what is new with you and your family.
Anything new or anyone new? What time a day do you usually get here? I always think I will start early, then after 2 or 3 hours, I finally get up out of my chair.
Is it breakfast time, lunch time or dinner time? Where in the world does the day go? Time flies by faster the older we get.
The sun is already setting! Are all your chores done or are you just starting them. I haven't colored one picture yet today, so I am out of here.
Good afternoon to you. Its a sunny and cool day here today. How is your day going? Mine has been good. Got all of my housework done for the day and going to be lazy the rest of the day. Enjoy your weekend my friend and take care. Many hugs to you, Cheryl
It is Friday and the rain has not started yet but it is on the way. Here comes the weekend!
Do you have a pet? Do you let your pet sleep with you or rather, do they let you sleep with them?
How can you say NO to that face? I can't and have never been able to say it.
I always wanted a Papillon and had one for over 14 years even though a Rat Terrier is my favorite breed. Our life was changed when Miss Kitty Wells arrived and has changed since she is gone. But she will never be forgotten.
Miss Kitty Wells would have been 15 on April 18th. She came to live with us at 6 weeks old. We have said goodbye to her.
My how she loved water from the beginning. She would always stand with her front feet in the water bowl to the very end.
She is with her best friend, Pecas, my son's first dog who lived with us in her last days.
Our 2 headed dog. What fun they had together!
And the other 4 dogs we have lost over the last 20 years. Miss Kitty joins Susie, Tilly, Cookie and Dolly as well as Pecas. We love you all and miss you all. Until we are all together again.
Hi there. Not much going on around here. Just a cold day here. Its only 25* and a little breeze. That breeze is cold. I went shopping for things we needed this morning. And that is the most excitment I have had today. Hope you are enjoying your afternoon my friend. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day. Many hugs to you. Cheryl
Which mask is your favorite? Those are thanks to my wonderful friend, Gloria. She is always surprising me with something. What a difference a day makes. We were in the mid 70's yesterday. We started at 65° this morning and before the sun came up we had dropped over 20 degrees. We are supposed to have rain on Friday and on Saturday morning. Hope you share your smile today!
Good afternoon to you. Its a cloudy and just a little breeze here and only 32*. At least the wind isn't howling like it was yesterday. How are you? I feel like the week is halfway gone and I'm just now getting on here. Shows how busy my week has been. Not much going on here now.Just taking it easy. I hope your week has been good my friend. Take care and many hugs from me to you. Cheryl
Hello Pal, well I'm here early this morning doing comments because lately I am wide awake at 5 or 6 am and can't go back to sleep. I just gave up and made coffee early this morning and took the dogs out to potty. Last night about 8 we heard gun shots nearby and it scared the dogs as they are afraid of booms of any kind. My brother called and said there was a vehicle between his house and mine and they were firing shots at someting. He called 911 and was told the people hit a deer and then got out to euthanize it. Still not sure I buy that story though. I think they were night hunting with a light, which is illegal of course and made up a story of hitting the deer to cover up the REAL story. They were also hollering and slamming car doors. It was just dispruptive that time of night. I was glad when they finally left. Hubby got the potatoes planted on Monday since we had finally dried out enough. he will plant the cucumbers and okra later. Have a good mid week. Hope your hip is feeling much better! huggies, Beth
