Do you celebrate Mardi Gras?  My kids were in Galveston over the past weekend and went to a BIG Mardi Gras parade there.  

Do you have a beautiful mask or lots of beads?  Even the DFW area is having parties and lots of Cajun food this year.  Do you like Cajun food?  

I hope you like my mask as I am thinking of wearing it all week just for fun!  

Very quiet day.  Daughters are miles away (no other close relatives around)  Was thinking of my youngest who passed.  Good happy thoughts but I miss her.

Everything is budding out here and Spring is in the air. So is pollen! ugh

Why is it that every Holiday, we run to the bank and/or check the mailbox several times to find NO mail.  We know it is a Holiday!  

We are in the upper 70's today and lower 80's tomorrow.  I would say, "Just the way I like it."  BUT we still don't have sunshine today.  I am very tired of clouds and dreary weather.  It is windy both days too.  

Thanks for being my sunshine.  I hope we have some tomorrow because we are going to vacuum (bag) the yard with the riding mower.  I think it will rain on Wednesday.  But I will check on you soon!

I know that Spring is not really here yet, but it is getting close because College Baseball, Softball and Basketball were all three watched by me last night.  Go Longhorns!  And I am heading in to watch more today since Church is over.

It was a nice sunny but cool day with a high of 59.  I was in all day as I cleaned out my bedside table's top drawer.  There were so many old papers and recipts and statements that I either threw away or destroyed.  I still have more papers that need to be run thru the shredder.  While doing this, I was in the kitchen cutting up veggies  for a chuck roast in the oven.  it was nice and tender when I took it out 3 1/2 hours later and it was a good meal that we both enjoyed.  I also made gravy with the drippings.  Someday I'll do the bottom drawer of the side table but it mostly has extra meds in it so it won't be as much work.  The top daqewer is almost empty - that's how much stuff I had in there.  I have a telephone health chick up at 2 or 3 oclock which should be finished in enough time so I can get ready to go to dominoes.  Good thing I don't have to cook.  Have a good Sunday - a day of rest.  Hugs Wendy

HELLO!  I hope you are having a Blessed day today.  Do you ever take selfies?  Ok, you know what I look like from the picture above.    

On a cold winter day, I might look a little different.  You might not even recognize me.  However, you already know that I don't enjoy winter!  

If I have to go to town for some groceries, I do at least try to get out of my sleepshirt and get dressed.  That is, unless I am not getting out of the car and just using the drive-through.  

Then there are always those times when I wish I could just fly through the air and magically get things done.  Well, that could be a very old picture of me when I could still do a pirouette.

Sup???  We started the day at 30° and made it to 40° by noon.  However, starting on Sunday, we should have a few days in the 70's.  Yippee Yahoo!  

My friend, Kay, took the picture on the left of an Owl in her neighbor's tree.  They sure do blend in to their surroundings.  

I have several friends that think this is my Hubby and I.  You know, I just don't get it.  I know Rbt wears funny shirts, but I don't think he would wear that one because it CAN'T be anywhere near true.  

Which means this can't be anywhere near true either!  Right???  

Worked Thursday last day... we started at 30 today and only at 40 by noon... brrr  But Sunday will start our run in th 70's.  Woo Hoo!

Are you working today Pam or are you home enjoying this nice weather we are having?  It's 76 and sunny here - the lat of the spring like weather for us as cooler temps will be moving in with the rain that is coming later tonite.  I attended a funeral of an auxillary member earlier this afterrnoon. I didn't really know here that well but went to show support.  Hope you have a good rest of the day and that you'll be off Friday.
