good morning Pal, thanks about my page! I sure enjoyed fixing it up for V-day. Well we are very soggy here in my part of the world. We had rain move in yesterday and we've had nearly 3 inches since then. We had to postpone our plans for day till tomorrow, to attend the Celtic festival. Glad it was a 2 day event. You are quite welcome for the BD card! Hope your birthday is good. Did you enjoy your Fri. night out? I don't drink beer either, never "acquired" the taste for it. lol. Yep, that was an odd test that did for Rich's kidney function. Not sure what they learned from t exactly. Maybe they'll send him the results in the mail. Hubby has a colonoscopy coming up in a few weeks and his co pay on that prep cleanser stuff was much higher than normal. I am just constantly amazed at the price of things and how they have increased! Happy weekend, Wendy!
Good afternoon my friend. I hope you are having a good day. Its a sunny day here today but it looks warm but it isn't. Only 38* and breezy. I'm ready for it to warm up into the 70's. What do you do on a cold rainy night with lots of thunder and lightning? My granddaughter was watching the lightning out the upstairs bathroom window. When the thunder rattled the windows, both crawled in bed with their parents!
The backyard had our river running all the way through it. From 6 pm on Tuesday night until 9 am Wednesday morning, we had 2-3/10" of rain. We only had over 2.5" total in 36 hours.
As you can tell, we still have a lot of rain water standing in the front flower bed. Do you see the reflection of our roof? We hit mid to upper 60's Thursday and will only be in the mid 40's for Friday. Up and down! Come on Spring when the temperatures will level out.
Hello there my friend. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Its a windy, cold and was a drizzly day. I went and got groceries this morning then had lunch with my hubby at noon. Boy was it cold then. Not much else going on. Just got my laundry put away so now I can relax and enjoy the rest of the day. I hope you are staying warm my friend. Take care and many hugs to you. Climate change is very real. As is all the garbage we, as humans, are leaving for future generations. I try to do my little best not to add to the problem but so much needs to be done. It's mind boggling.

The rain moved in mid morning and is supposed to stay through tomorrow. Good thing I got Taxes dropped off at 9 am this morning.
Now don't you think that is a good idea? My only problem is that I finished the book I was reading at 2 am this morning.
Now we are talking! I will spend some time deciding which book will be next. I am getting excited as I have several titles on my favorites list.
I am so trying to ignore my todo list that had 9 things on it today and only 2 have been marked off. Let's see rain tomorrow too... I'll try to get some reading and some things marked off today and the same for tomorrow. I can always erase my list and start over, right?
