Good morning. It is 15* as of this typing. Heading to 20* later. Fortitude was the word this morning on the walk. 1* chill, and it felt like it with the wind. A couple of times I felt like turning around and returning to the fortress. Church later. Nothing else planned. I hope your Black Friday shopping went well. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!

GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Barbie, I pray YOU have a SATISFYINGLY SENSATIONAL SATURDAY, and are having a SALUBRIOUS WEEKEND, my friend...
Happy day after Thanksgiving. I hope yours was as great as ours. We had a houseful and there was so much food and lots of laughter. Today is my Christmas decorating day. I'll turn on the Christmas music, put up the tree, and make the house festive. I just love this time of year. To make it extra special, we are expecting very cold temperatures the next many days so it will truly FEEL like Christmas....even though we lack snow. Have a safe and wonderful weekend.
Hello to you from the cold Oklahoma panhandle. Its 30* and that wind is chilly. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. I did. Didn't eat to much either. We have another get together at noon today. Not much else going on. Just doing the laundry. Take care my friends and stay warm or cool wherever you live. Hugs, Cheryl
It is Black Friday. Ok, the sales have been going on for several weeks already. So I feel like they are just leading us on. Now that our Thanksgiving is over, no more pumpkins or Fall.
Now here we are waiting for Christmas and thinking of putting up decorations as the warm temperatures are now a thing of the past for most.
There have been some beautiful days in between the temperatures changing. So why does it feel like we went from one extreme to the other?
The birds all seem to adapt to "whatever comes next" in the weather.
So we say goodbye to Autumn and get prepared for Winter. Well, are we ever really ready for Winter?
Now I have to go build a fire, oh we don't have a fireplace. So it might be time to turn the heater on. I wish you a wonderful beginning of the weekend with lots of Blessings & Hugs. Pam
Good morning. Happy Black Friday. People are not as excited as in the past when some people at Best Buy would be in a tent 3 or 4 days before the event on the sidewalk. Now people use their computers to shop. The glory is gone. Even now, some stores come out before opening and on a limited quantity, they hand out tickets for the item to the first 25 people, or whatever. The thrill of rushing into the store and engaging in a fist fight or trampling someone is not there. The good old days.......... The walk this morning was cool to say the least. 19* with a chill of 4*F. Tomorrow should be single digits and it is not even winter yet. Brings back the memories of 2017, December, the furnace breaking down and the furnace authorities informing this writer he needs a new one. It still took me almost a year to pull the trigger and have it done. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
