Hope you had a good Memorial Day.  We went to our local cemetary to have our service with special speakers and the Boy Scouts so they can learn the meaning of Memorial Day and hopfully become good patriots when they grow up.  Then we went backto the VFW to have hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob baked beans, pasta salad and lots more made by the women of the auzillaary.  After that we came home and chilled out for the rest of the evening.  Hope you had as nice a day.   Hugs, Wendy

Memorial Day is here but please never forget what this day is all about.  

You might be at home today with family and friends getting together.  

Or you might be on a summer vacation with family or visiting friends since school is out.  

Wherever you are or what you are doing, I hope your flag is flying high to remind others of this day and what it means to so many.  

When you look at flags today, remember the meaning of then flying in the wind, the last breath of those that gave their all so we could be free.  

After all, so many gave their all for our freedom.  The true meaning of Memorial Day.

We played catch up around the house.  I mowed and Rbt trimmed bushes.  I was asleep by 8 pm after 2 nights of just under 6 hours each.  I am so glad you went dancing!  

It is Sunday but we have a holiday tomorrow.  Bless this day and Memorial Day!  

I hope you get to see a beautiful sunrise this weekend and enjoy the view around you.

Or maybe you will see a beautiful sunset this long weekend.  

I love taking pictures and the sun rising in the morning is a favorite time for me.  

But then, since I am up at night, I do love trying to take pictures then too.
