For many the long weekend has started. I can hardly wait to hear all the things you are doing for this US holiday and how you spent your extra day off. For us nothing will be different except trying to calm our four scared dogs as the fireworks go boom.
We have already been to visit friends. Our kids are in Mexico visiting and vacationing. Our adopted family is out of town looking at property for their real estate business.
Yesterday late afternoon we heard thunder and saw lightning. We got a small shower or two but not much rain. Then we woke up this morning to rain. It didn't quit until mid afternoon today. So we ended up with 1-1/2" of rain total. Boy, is it humid. Hard to breathe. Hope your weather is just perfect for the weekend.

Just dropping by to say hello. I hope you are doing well and having a good week so far. Weekend will soon be upon us. Hope you are having some decent weather. We were having a heat wave here in Oregon. Temps got up to 115. I do like the heat but that was way too hot. Another busy day around here. We just got back from the eye glass doctor. She changed his prescription from when he saw her 6 weeks ago. His Glaucoma doctor recommended this Pediatric Ophthalmologist because of the prism in his glasses and his slanted, double vision. Then she recommended this Optical place because they have a lab on-site and are good with prisms in glasses.So for the last 6 weeks he hasn't had glasses that work for him. We have hope again now.
It is so humid outside that it is hard to catch your breath. Yesterday scattered showers left us with 4/10" rain and because of clouds around the temperatures aren't too high, just humid.
I think I forgot to tell you my Longhorns lost Saturday night. Tonight we will watch the final college baseball game to see who the winner is for this year.
I feel like I have missed a week with visiting friends in Lubbock and running errands since we got back. Thanks again for keeping me posted on your life and for sharing your smile with others. I'll check on you again soon!

A good day to you my friend. Another beautiful day here expecting rain. Have a squirrel feeder with two enjoying the corn on cob and what they don't eat birds keep what's fallen on the ground cleaned up. Hope the day is as beautiful as you are......George
Our 4 dogs were very glad we came back home from our trip. Hubby checked on them a bunch while we were gone on our cams.
Today I went to pick up the Edward Jones ladies. Tisha will be 35 tomorrow and we took her to lunch today at Salt Grass.
Then I had to stop at Tuesday Morning and Hobby Lobby before my car would come home. I don't really have any room on the fence but aren't they pretty!
And I'm hoping that Hubby can find a way to drill a hole in the top of this beautiful blue fish (there is already a hole in the bottom) so I can use it to make a hummingbird bird bath. Do you have any suggestions on how to drill a hole in ceramic?
So now I need to pay a few bills for the first of the month. Can you believe June is almost over?
