While we were in the kitchen, my wife, Geralyn, looked out the window and saw a Monarch butterfly in our flower garden. She thought something just didn't seem right about it so I suggested that she go outside to investigate. While I watched through the window, Geralyn picked up the butterfly and brought it inside the house. She told me that it couldn't fly because it had a broken wing and she knew how to mend him! Hello my friend, we are having another beautiful day. It is only 74 degrees. Very cool breeze blowing. The kids are swimming in the lake and I don't know how they stand it. It is too cold to be swimming. It got down to 55 degrees last night and that makes the lake very cold. Our lake has very cold springs in it and wow,, when you swim past one, it is very cold. I remember all those days when the kids were little. I loved to swim I was the first one in and the last one out. I would go swimming in September. Wow, the water would be cold.
