Some of the grandsons are coming over with Mommy in afew days to help Grammie decorate the Christmas tree. We will have a glorious time and of course Grammie will have hot chocolate with marshmallows for them to enjoy along with some Christmas cookies.

What a joy it is to receive cards from friends during the month of December and even into January. it's been a long day so far...last night my parrot got outside, it took me until 3oclock this morning to find him, thank god i got his wings cliped so he could'nt fly very far. i have been using warm towels on him all day, looks like he will be alright...he's in his cage with his sister eating now...not really sure how he got out, i probably accidently left his cage unlocked, and when i went out to fill up the bird feeders he snnuck out..i was so scared he would'nt make it, he was so cold..i've had him since i was in college...love him so much...well enough of my drama, hope your day went well, and you have a nice evening...hugs

Hi Karen, thanks for your newsy comment, always so good to hear from you. weather is awful up here today, so much rain and wind. they say 1st real storm of the fall season. Hope I don't lose my power. Glad you have some good channels to watch with great movies - I don't get Disney channel up here, lots of animal documentaries etc. I am feeling sad about the children being treated so awful at the border. My prayers are with all who want to come to a better place. I often wonder as of late though, is it a better place?? with Spanky there one has to ask that question. well we got snow but not quite what they predicted, it's so pretty...starting to decorate the house ...but too early for a tree. i always get a real one . the cats will sure be happy when i put it up...lol...hope your week starts out good for you...hugs
