Christmas was important because of what it represents, but it was a sad one for us, as we watch our daughter fight cancer. Thanks for the wishes, though!

OK, so I retired over 5 years ago and my Financial Advisor and friend since 7th grade told me if I wanted to keep busy I should be an On Call for Edward Jones. So I applied and was hired. The first year was a learning curve doing the training and putting my name out there. I don't remember how much I worked that year but I have worked at 10-12 different offices over the years. The second year I worked just under 1000 hours. The third year over 800 hours. I had over 200 hours before covid hit last year and still ended up with amost 350 hours. After covid started I only worked at one office, my home branch, and decided that I was tired of traveling 20-30 miles one way to different offices in traffic anyway. My home branch is 8 miles one way.
This morning my phone rang and Kelly, FA of my home branch, called and asked if I wanted to work because she was sending Tisha home sick. The picture above is how my day went! I know I am working tomorrow and was already scheduled to work on Wednesday. I might work the whole week and maybe longer. Time will tell. So if you don't hear from me, please don't panic. I'll check in when I can. Edward Jones is a great place to work part time or full time... Thank goodness I have a wonderful Hubby that can help at home, even though he doesn't know how to turn the computer on let alone pay bills online.
We are soon going to have some cold January weather. But we can stay warm by staying healthy at home in our warm homes. Just have a good Monday, my friend. Smiles and hugs, Nancy
Good afternoon Mary Kay I just got up from taking a nap Ceil is still sleeping and she wants me to wake her up at 4:00 and after I wake Ceil up we'll go downstairs and get the resat of supper going thwen we'll fix our plates and take them into the living room and watch TV while we eat and when we're finished with supper we'll take our showers then we'll go upstairs and go into the bedroom and we'll watch TV while we play games on my phone until after we watch the 6:00 news and after we watch the news we'll go on our computers ansd we'll check our E-mail then we'll go on "TheHill" and answer our messages and after that we'll play our games and wqhen we're finished on the computers we'll shut them down for the night and we'll go back into the bedroom and watch TV while we play games on my phone until we're ready to go to bed. Good afternoon MK. It's Sunday afternoon and I have to make food for our little group that plays dominoes this afterrnoon so this will be short. Hope you are enjoying this Sunday. Right now it's foggy and the high will be 54 and the low 37. Still waiting for another part for the heat pump - hoping it's here tomorrow.
