My puppy is getting big. 28.50 pounds. She is going to be a big dog.

      Hi there Rick.....

  These summer time holidays are just another day to me.  I don't care for them at all, but I always acknowledge them anyway.

 Here at the site, Altara asked if I would enter the Fall/Halloween contest.  I'm a bit nervous about it.  I always vote on these type of contests, but I never actually enter.  Over Christmas there was a contest on Christmas pages.  I didn't enter, but I voted on which page I liked best.  Of course, there are no prizes.  I guess it's just an honorary kind of thing, I guess.

 Nothing new here - same old, same old things.  I am glad that August is over and I say good riddance to it.  I have no sentimental feelings for summer and humidity.  The only time I ever liked summer is when I was a kid and that was only because we got 3 months off from school.  lol.  I remember being miserable with the high humidity back then too.  And we had no a/c in those days.  Back then I spent a lot of time outside doing kid stuff and I remember feeling sticky hot and being itchy from mosquito bites.  No fun at all.  I usually spent many of the real hot days at the swimming pool.  That was the only way to keep cooled off and to keep the mosquitos away.  UGH..

   I didn't forget :-) What have you been doing these days?  We're getting closer to Fall..  August is now half over..  The closer it gets, time will start racing by..  That happens every year..  The summer seems to drag by, then once cooler weather gets here, time seems to race by..  It hasn't cooled down yet, but at least we're getting closer.

 Here is some ice cream for us. I'll take the pink one. lol. Did you ever taste teaberry ice cream? We go for ice cream twice a week. Last week they had a flavor called teaberry. I remember teaberry gum, but never had teaberry ice cream. Anyway, the ice cream is pink in color and it's quite tasty. Didn't know if I would like it or not, but it's very good.

 How is your roofing project coming along. Did those roofers get started yet?  Are you having problems with your roof leaking anywhere?

 Good evening.. We got about 5 inches of snow last night.. We haven't had much snow this winter at all.. I think the 5 inches we just got is the most we had all season.. Normally, all the snow goes everywhere else, but doesn't come this way.. Just like Buffalo got 5 feet a few weeks ago.. None of that snow hit here.. Buffalo is a little north of where I live, but it completely missed us.. I suppose it all depends where the jet stream is carrying it to..  Darlene
