Oldies. Anne of Green Gables, Gone with the Wind, most old westerns. Not into space stuff or fantacy pictures as my imagination doesn't work to well anymore. I need to see things as they are.

Classic Country (I think that's what it's called now). I like the oldtime dance music as that's what I grew up with and played guitar for many years. Most of my favorite singers are dead or in nursing homes! I also enjoy the oldtime gospel singers.

Old westerns.Biographies. True stories. Have recently started reading 'Bible Narratives'. Which is Bible stories about a particular character and their background. Live Joseph and all he went through. It has brought the Bible to life for me.

Various shades of brown. But like bright colors also, except avacado and some other shades of green.

Roast beef.Fryed chicken, some vegetarian foods and pizza. Most vegetables.

I was born in a little prairie town at the beginning of the war and have three older siblings. We were placed in an orphanage at a very young age so I don't have much memory of my life before age 6. At that time Dad took us out of the orphanage to a little town where he was the town police and when he deceided that he didn't want the responsiblity of children, we were given (quite literally)to anyone who would take us.I grew up in a foster home where I was abused until I left and joined the Air Force. I got married and we had two children. After we moved from Que. to BC he deceided marraige and family were not for him so I raised the children alone. They are both grown now and I have two grandchildren who are also grown and on their own.

Working outside. Walking, in a gentle rain. Honest people who tell me what they are really thinking and don't beat around the bush. My many friends on the hill who are so very patient with my long delays between updates and keeping in contact.

Two faced people. Cooking. I only do it because I have to eat!Broccoli and worst of all spinach! Then comes spiders, snakes and bats.

Crocheting, tableclothes mostly. Making jackets from recycled jeans. My most recent hobby is my digital camera.

Hi Colleen.  You have the right name  to celebrate St. Patty's Day, that is for sure lol

Hope all is well with you.  Yes, you will miss your daughter.  Gosh, my Mom passed away 14 yrs ago, and I still miss her terribly.  Thankfully, I have wonderful memories to get me through.  I am sure you do as well.  I am sure your daughter would not want you to be sad.

Feels like Spring has sprung here.  Today, it is going to 13C but they tell us it is going to cool off for the next little while.  Haven't had any new snow here since the end of January, so it is very dry.  Now we have no snow left on the ground, but that might be about to change as well.

Hope you have a great rest of the week.
