Wednesday is the middle of the week and the best day to share your heart with others.
Love is what life is all about, the greatest of all is Love. Put a smile on someone's face today by sharing your smile with them or doing something good for them.
After all, it is the little, fun things that make life so wonderful for them and for you too.
Besides, when you make others happy, it makes you forget your problems too!
Never miss an opportunity to share your heart overflowing with love with others.
This is where we are right now, today, make the most of it. Blessings & Hugs! Pam
Good Morning. We woke up to a very cold morning. When my husband left to go to work this morning it was -6 and felt like -20. It has now warmed up to 9 and feels like -8. That is way to cold. And it doesn't help that the house is drafty. I hope you are staying warm where you live. It's supposed to get up to 40 tomorrow which will feel warm. I'm staying in the house today, I do have to fenture out to take out the trash. I want to go to a beach and sit in the sun. Enjoy your day my friend and take care. Hugs to you, Cheryl

Good Monday Morning! It is cold in North Texas, 18°! Tomorrow morning it will even be cold in South Texas.
At least we do not have any moisture in the air or precipitation therefore we do not have any snow in the DFW area.
Our friends in Lubbock had a surprise Sunday with a light dusting of snow. In Waco, Houston, and San Antonio areas, they should get snow. Even the Corpus Christi area, where I grew up, has a chance of snow flurries which is rare.
I am just hoping that there is no ice on the trees anywhere in Texas. If the trees are icy and the tree limbs get heavy and break then the electricity usually goes out.
After all, we just want to be able to build a snowman and get out of school or work.
Hey, maybe the snowman could check the mailbox and bring the mail inside to me.
In honor of the pretty little fawn who came to visit you, I am sending this one your way. It's not one of "my" deer (who stopped by early this evening for some apple slices--two adult females and a pair of sturdy fawns), but it sort of looks like the one above might be your visitor when it's grown up some. At any rate, what a sweet surprise to find that little beauty out at your barn, and having it stay at least long enough for you to get a photo of it to keep and to share! Such a darling little fawn; I'd get up early if I could be greeted in that way of a morning.
We have two (relatively new to us) cats, so I got a kick out of the graphic you sent of the cat in front of the Christmas tree which was laying on the floor, obviously knocked over. Since both cats are young in age and full of energy, we decorated with that in mind for the holidays. Nothing fragile on the tree and at the bottom (I've done this for years) were some jingle bells that signal us when one of the cats ventures beneath the tree. Some ornaments did get knocked off, but as they were fabric, there was no damage done. I think one of them did have the hanger on it decimated, but I'll fix that next Christmas when I get it back out. Calvin and Hobbes are a good pair of boys, but they do squabble as if they were siblings (they aren't...Calvin came to us first...he was about half grown already and had obviously been around people...Hobbes was a small kitten and was much more hesitant, but Calvin asked if we could keep him, so we did...both have been neutered and I think their more youthful energy is helping our older cats to feel younger) from time to time. Our bedroom is in the basement but none of the cats are allowed down there (Den has an allergy to pet dander, so he needs a space in the house where he can go and give his sinuses a rest). We'll be laying in bed and hear the cats running pell-mell through the house. Crazy cats! Or maybe we're the ones who are crazy, huh?
I hope things are going really well for you, for your grandson, for your family and friends. I think winter has mostly passed us by this year, but I know that isn't the case for most of the country. And we have gotten a lot of rain this winter, so we're not all dried out like the folks in southern California who are having to cope with those awful fires. I miss seeing the snow fall, but I sure don't miss either driving in it or being in a rig when someone else is driving in it or worrying if my kids have to drive in it. It does make everything pretty while the snow is fresh and new, though, doesn't it? I bet you've had some and I hope everyone has stayed safe and warm.
My brother and I moved our mother into an assisted living facility here in my town this July. She did pretty well until just before Thanksgiving when some behavioral issues cropped up. We had a rough month right on through the New Year, but after a couple of visits to the hospital for testing, a pair of visits to the local clinic and a Zoom call with Mom's doctor (who had Covid, which was why we couldn't bring Mom in to see her), that good lady prescribed three new medications and they worked wonders on turning our Mom around and bringing her back to us. For whatever reason (she turned 89 years old in December...I guess that's reason enough), she slipped abruptly into some kind of dementia but now she is lucid and back to being the Mom we've always known. Thank goodness!! Yes, that was a rough time for us all, but it seems the New Year is starting off very well. We got word the other day that Mom has been accepted into the Medicaid program, so that is a big weight removed since they will now cover her rental at the facility and other items as well, though I need to consult with them to find out exactly what our mother qualifies to have now that she has been approved. Sometimes you don't realize how much stress you've been under until it lifts and I feel we've all been lifted in the past couple of weeks.
Thinking of you and sending hope, peace, comfort, and as many blessings as the Good Lord will grant you, MK!!
