I love music and have it inside my soul but I rarely listen to it. I cannot have music on while I'm reading because if it's music I like my brain will be trying to sing along as well as digest the written word.
My favourite music includes gospel, rock and roll from the sixties, songs from wartime, both first and second world wars, singalong songs, doowop ... I guess you could say most any music from prior to the seventies.

Mysteries, courtroom drama, historical fiction provided it's not just a smutty sex story.

I can never answer this because I don't know if it refers to clothing, walls, cars etc. It would not be the same for each.

I used to always say, "corn in all its forms" but recently I've begun to think it might be butter.
