I am almost without taste when it comes to movies, and will watch as many as I can get to. However, love really good historical movies, documentaries, gut-busting comedies, BIG adventures, mystery. HELP! I am a movie buff.

Mozart, Bach, much classical music, violin, cello, opera, Gilbert and Sullivan, Willie Nelson, oh...such a smorgasborg of music. Anything that gets my toes tapping. Tango music, jive and rock...keep going, the list is long

My most fave recent book is "The Secret Magdalene" but as with movies, I read omnivorously, and it has to be really badly written to turn me off. I have enjoyed Karen Armstrong's books, Jacke Whyte's hisorical novels, well researched about Britain during the last of the Roman control there. Loved Nigel Tranter's historical novels about Scotland. Am reading 'Europe: A History" and it is terrific. Love forensic novels, and pretty well all history.
