Plain, simple and easy to get along with.
I work as a companion nurse aide in a nursing home. It has definately opened my eyes to our "older" folks and how they are loved and treated by family and workers. This is the last stop for them...so I try to make the time I have with them as fun as possible!
I am a hairstylist by trade for over 40 years. I have 3 grown children: a son 44, daughters are 41 and 39. 6 grandchildren and a new Grandson as of Sept 24, 2007.
I lived in Florida for 25 years and owned by own hair salon. I loved it there but I am back up north for now.
My Mom is 92 years young. I live in an apartment above her.I am the care giver...but she is sharp and semi active.
I have to admit...this is not the life I thought I would have at this time of my life but...I wouldn't trade it for anything...so much to learn from Mom!
Of course...that's not saying if MR WONDERFUL came along that I wouldn't enjoy having him in my life.
Who I'd like to meet:
I figure that the degree of difficulty in combining two lives ranks somewhere between rerouting a hurricane and finding a parking place in downtown Manhattan.
I am describing the type of person I might be interested in meeting (either romantically or platonically): Attractive, Classy, Witty, Intelligent Man, Confident in himself and secure enough to allow me to have my own space when I need it. A man capable of being monogamous and loving, and being loved by the only person that will matter to him.

I like the smell of freshly cut grass, the smell of rain...the silence during a snowfall, the smell of coffee brewing. The sound of children playing, the sound of my grandson's breath when he is asleep on me.
