Comedies are my favorite movies. Any romantic comedy. Ghost and Dirty Dancing are a couple of my fav's. Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeves. IT IS WONDERFUL and well worth watching.

I like many types of music. I enjoy country at times but I like upbeat older music. Then I enjoy the mood relaxing music.

I will read any kind of book that holds my attention in the first chapter. But not murder plots.

I'm diabetic but I have a great love of all food. I have learned to limit my food but I still get small portions of my favorite foods. I LOVE peanut butter. Chocolate frozen yogurt. Chinese foods, Asian, German, I'll try it. I love bold flavors. My belly doesn't sometimes. My husband makes the BEST homemade bread and rolls I've ever had.

I am the youngest of 6 girls born to a typical truck-driving cowboy that raised registered horses and gambled and a mother that had mental illness most of her life but did everything she could or knew how to do to make a good home for all of us. My oldest sister was pregnant with her first child when I was born so until the past 20 years I never really knew her. I was guardian for my mama for many years and the only one that tried to understand the mental issues. She was my sunshine. She passed Nov. 2006. I miss her so much. I could look in her blue eyes and EVERY thing in life was grand. She had Alzhiemers the last 10 years and the last 5 of those years, she was the most loving woman alive. My daddy died of cancer in 1987. I wouldn't go sit at the hospital like the rest of the sisters and family to wait for 3 weeks for him to pass. I did what I thought HE would want me to do and that was to go on with life and take care of his horses, his dog and my 2 daughters. I found peace out at his farm and came to terms with life and lossing in general. I have 2 wonderful daughters (that have not always been wonderful) and a step daughter and son. And 9 grandchildren. We live on 5 acres in the sticks outside of Neosho and hope to move closer to the Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri corner in the next year. I am guardian for my 62yr. old sister that was diagnosed with fluid on the brain at 58yr. and living a perfectly normal life until she was late 40's raising 2 sons and 2 stepdaughters. Now she has demimtia and 24 hour staff in her own apartment. So I supervise all that. She is getting to be quite a handful. My daughters live in Cherryvale, Kansas with their great husbands. Thats about 90 miles from us. The step kids live 35 miles and 45 miles east of us but we don't see them much. I have a panic disorder that keeps me on a mild drug. My dogs help with that issue. The less stress the better I am but how do we run from the Stress Monster??????

I love people and animals, especially dogs but pretty much all. I LOVE to spend time with my husband and 9 grand children. My husband, Harry is a wonderful man. Very hard worker and can do and fix just about anything. He is a diesel mechanic by trade but is licensed in refrigeration units, and driving as well. At this time in our lifes, we are focusing on each other and we are the best of friends. The oldest is 14yr. and the youngest is 5yr. with one to be born in Oct. I love living in the country and appreciate any type of nature, whether it be flowers, birds, or sunshine. I dearly love to spend quality time with the grandkids going canoeing. I had never been until last summer and found it to be so fun. I'm hooked!!!!

I don't care for people that discriminate against anyone or thing. I am a strong advocate. I have NO tolerance for elder abuse, disabled abuse or animal abuse. I have no patience for judgemental people. If you haven't walked in a person's shoes (if they have shoes) don't look down on them. We all have experiances and a past. I do not like violence. I won't watch movies or any tv that has alot of violence or killing. I am a realist and I know what is out there but I would rather watch shows that are more light hearted and make me laugh and have good thoughts.

I have many hobbies. I love sewing. ANYTHING from clothes, to purses, curtains. I have many plants of every kind. My dogs are my life. I have 2 pekes, a heeler pup and a border collie female that I got at an animal rescue. I make jewelry. I'm fairly new to this hobby but I love it and my youngest daughter loves what I make her to wear to work at a bank. I have made many presents and sold some. I enjoy reading. And I love learning anything. Going to flea markets amd finding treasues. I enjoy working with wood making shelfs or cut out scroll patterns. I enjoy remodeling and doing any kind of projects. Playing computer games such as Spider Solitare.
