Apple's new iOS update is now available. I have always been the "go to" person for all my friends as far as Tech Support (George, I miss you). However, the older I get, the less sure I am that I can figure all this new stuff out. So, if you hear me screaming... I updated our iPhones and iPads.
Nothing could be more true. But then there is no better "Welcome Home" than from a dog either (or 4 of them).
I think even the dog can figure out the iPad faster than I can do it now. Let me know if you updated your Apple products or not already.

The moon is just as important as the sun. It takes both for the plants to grow. After days of rain and darkness, how wonderful does the sunshine feel to you? And how much do we enjoy the night when it is time to lay down and rest?

Evening Cheryl - My day started with only a feww sips of coffee when Richie's brother called and wanted us to go to lunch with him and his wife. Got dressed and hurried up and left. Took a lot of mine home with me as it was too soon for me to eat anything. Left there and went to the psot so they could have a few beers, but I didn't have anything. Not too long after I got home, I started dinner. made stuffed peppers - I used a very old recipe and t was still pretty good. Now watching the Sat. nite HBO movie - pretty good for a change. Do you look up at the moon and wonder who else is looking at the same moon?
My cousin and I often take pictures of our moon and share it with each other and say, "We are looking at the same moon."
Even though the scenery surrounding the moon or the colors of the sky may not be the same since we live in different states.
Sometimes we can't even see the moon because the clouds have moved in to obscure it.
Then at times, the moon looks so big and looks so close to us that we could just reach up and touch it.
While in another state, far away, the moon looks like it is a very long way off and that the stars are trying to outshine it. Which is your favorite moon?
The moon was so beautiful last night. I love that I can see it coming up through my living room windows. There was not a breath of wind after a warm and humid day.
I bet if you looked real close, you could see the cow jumping over the moon. Perfect weekend for high school football and homecoming for my grandson. Perfect weekend for College Football. Also a perfect weekend for tailgating at the Cowboys game!
It was 77 here - much better than 93 - unless we have Indian summer, we won't see those temps again till next summmer. Left at noon to go to Virginia to see Richie's doctor. All is good where he's concerned. We stopped as usual at a place to eat. Both had a big hamburger and could only eat half of it. I had a side of potato salad and Rich had cole slaw. We brought it all home with us and we'll hopefully have it tomorrow for lunch. That was my first meal of the day. Just had him color my roots - so I'll look decent when we go out tomorrow nite. I know with the heat you are experiencing, you still have your AC on full blast. I don't know how we stood it when we were young and didn't have AC back then. I did exactly what you did today Cheryl - nothing - not even washing. Got ready at 4 to go to a dinner for a friend's wife' birthday celebration - the usual Thursday nite group was there. Rich and I shared some Lumpia as he was eating at his meeting at 6 and I had a hamburger around 2 so I wasn't that hungry. The days are getting cooler here dropping by one dree every day - we were 85 today. Have a good day tomorrow. Hugs, Wendy
When you take a vacation and take pictures, do you ever think what it would look like at a different time of year or in a different season or under different weather conditions?
Have you ever captured a lightning strike on camera? How blessed is the person that captured this... a rainbow and lightning.
None of the lightning pictures I have are anything like these. Can you imagine... a heart and lightning going through a cloud. Amazing!
Have you ever known someone who got struck by lightning? After looking at this picture, just think about what happens in a body that gets zapped. I don't think I'm going outside with an umbrella anytime soon. I hope you will get out there and share your smile today!
