Sunday is here and I will be working on Monday and Tuesday. I was so busy on Saturday that I didn't get to visit each of you but I did post a bulletin.
So it is a new week and I am still playing catch up. Can you believe this is the last week of June and that half this year is over?
When it comes to housework and trying to get things done that I don't like doing, I always want to run away.
But then in the middle of grumbling, you look around and the Blessings just are all around you.
Something so beautiful is right there in front of you and it puts a smile on your face.
OK, it was only a flower and maybe a hummingbird too but they both put a smile on my face.
Glad you are having a nice day weatherwise Cheryl. It's in the low 80's here but has rained this morning and again this afternoon. We are going to the Moose tonite and hope it doesn't rain then. Afternoon Cheryl Quiet day here too. Got up late this mornng and ate breakfast at 2 this afternoon. I wanted Richie's homemade hash browns. We had little sausage links to go along with it and no eggs or toast. It's been a sunny day so far but breezy with a temp of 76 right now and a high of 79. Gonna make a meatloaf for dinner tonite with fresh made mashed potatoes and asparagus. It sure is ashame about the deaths of those that were on the submersible vessle that went down to see the Titanic. Don't think we'll get any more rain today unless it comes later this evening or tonite. Glad you are liking and enjoy the rain. Hugs, Wendy
Perms are nice Cheryl as you never have to mess with your hair. i had on once in my lefe and really enjoyed it I've never lived anywhere where there were tornados. Since I have been here in NC we had had watches and several months ago there was a tornado touched down and really did a number on a lot of homes. Maybe Jersey is a better place to live as we only get hurricans there for the most part.
Went with honey and his brother to a place about an hour away and met two other friends for lunch - had a nice time then we all went home. I dropped off my ring down there to see if they could stretch it a bit. Honey's brother swears by this place so I left it there. We are going that way Sat. but it won't be ready by then, but when it is, I'm sure his brother will pick it up for me an I'll pay him, as we see him at least once a week. I usually stay inside when it's really hot out and try to work in the garden earlier in the day, but don't know when I'll be able to get down and do anything this year. The moring started out cloudy and by 2 pm the rains came - hard and soft at times and at times it stopped but it continued through out the day. We went to the CPOA club as they were having French Fry nite - not too many people showed up though. We waited for honey's brother to come over - him and his wife were at the Vet's for a couple hours. We stayed till 7 then came home. Tomorrow several of us are going to a place an hour south to have lunch. The rain will be with us tomorrow also. Have a good nite. Hugs, Wendy

Hope you are enjoy this beautiful Sunday, Cheryl. It's a lovely 84 degrees here. I've transplanted lots of flowers that I bought weeks ago - hope they all take. Guess we'll see in a few weeks. Honey went to the VFW to relax for a time for Father's Day. He wante cabbage and kielbasa for dinner and I have the cabbage all cut up and ready to go. Hope your hubby is having a great day. Hope you are having a nice day Cheryl and that it's not too hot. It's beautiful here. Had to wake up early to go to breakfast with Richie's brother and wife at the Masonic Lodge. Lots of good food - Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links and patties, pancakes, potatoes, bisuits and sausage gravy , coffee and oj. Ate my full and came home and went back to sleep for an hour. 7am is just too early for me to get up especially when I don't go to bed late anyway and last nite I was awakend at 5 with a foot cramp - they are horrible and have to walk it off. Are you going camping with the family or just a Father/Son get away? I hope it isn't too dry to build a fire for Coffee and maybe a cookout.
Maybe you will see a Kiskadee or some other rare bird as you are walking through the woods.
I hope the dog gets to go too because after all, he is man's best friend. A father, a child, and a dog together would be a perfect weekend with BBQ of course.
