It was a nice day here and not hot at all at 82 degrees. Met Richie's brother and wife at the CPOA as it was wing nite. We are all winged out so I had some fries and Rich just ate the popcorn and had 2 beers and I had a coke. We were the only for hrs and came home. I took a shower as we are going out tomorrow nite to a seafood place with 3 other couples. I love seafood and I really like the place we are gong to. It's not frills, order and pick up your own food on paper plates and pay in advance. You can also get fresh seafood there. After dinner we'll go to the Moose to meet our friends and stay to midnite. Hubby didn't make it to the grocery store but I did. It only took me 2 hours inside the store. At least he helped put things away. I was exhausted!

There is beauty all around the world. Look at that sunrise on the beach. Can you feel the sand between your toes and the cool water?
Maybe you prefer the mountains. As the sun rises, you can feel the cool breeze and you can see beautiful animals begin to move around.
Now as summertime arrives, we can feel the heat and the humidity. But there is still beauty to be found all around us... just go back to that flower. hehehe
We will probably say goodbye to the rain as summer takes over. It has been beautiful while it lasted this year except for those who got damaging hail.

Happy Flag day Cheryl. Hope you have yours out flying proudly I bought Rich a flag and pole 2 years ago and it's been flying ever since then. He always wanted a flag out front and he got it!!! I went to clean the bathroom toilet and it had such a black ring all around the inside upper lip - it took me 15 minutes to get it scrubbed clean. I'm sure it's from having the heaters in ther running 24hours for 7 days. Cause it wasn't like that before. I mean I really had to scrub hard to get it all off. Thank goodness I had startedd a crock pot chicken dish before I started. After dinner I wanted ice cream so we went to DQ. Just got home and I'm satisfied now. Glad you had a good day. Yes, it is Flag Day! And my sweet friend, Kay, has a birthday today that she shares with Trump!
So today I have a day off and I am going outside to enjoy the flowers for a bit. I hope to get my car inspected and tags renewed too. And I desperately need to get groceries as our list is a page long.
Our flag is flying between our driveways. Of course we are both wearing red, white and blue too!

Saturday and Summer! We started our day at 70° or above. Yesterday was 95° and today should be 97°.
I have already watered the plants in the backyard. It takes about an hour. When you start out, you think, it isn't too bad out here. By the time you are through, you are dripping wet with sweat!
I have about 4 different colors of daylilies but I would love that orange & black Tiger Lily. Lilies are so faithful to come back year after year and they spread too.
Isn't it amazing the color that flowers add to our life? When I walk outside barefoot to do my grounding every morning, even on work days, the colorful blooms put a smile on my face.
Even at night they shine in the solar lights and the moon light. Some of them might sleep but some of them never close up and are there to greet you.
Even the weeds have a role in our life. Some, like dandelions, are very good for you health wise and their blooms really are pretty. I hope you see flowers today that put a smile on your face and that you share that smile with others.
