The day started out with rain but stoed around 2 and the sun is comming out now I tried a new recie for peach cobbler and I didn't have peaches in heavy suryp so it's a little wet and the top didn't brown But I hope it taste good as it for dessert with our friends tonite when we play dominoes. We'll pick up a pizza for dinner as it's my turn to cook and I didn't want to overload myself. I'll do some laundry tomorrow - did some darks the other day as

Hi Cheryl - how was your Saturday? I hope you had a nice day - got any plans for tomorrow or Monday? Or did you have someting planned for today? I just stayed home all day - found a new recipe for canned chicken - chicken croquettes - they were really good and I think only 5 ingredients. i will make them again as even Rich enjoyed them. The therapist on Friday transferred me to a cane from the wheelcharir. But I'm getting around the house without it - so I think I'm doing really good. You are lucky that you can open windows and doors Cheryl. Rich has allergies and wants all the windows kept shut. I do try to to open them when he's not here when it's nice, but lately he's been hanging around here more just in case I need something or God forbid fall. I can dress myself now without his help. PT is coming tomorrow and I'm pretty sure she's gonna want to see me with a cane instead of the walker. I can walk some on my own - short distances but feel safer with a walker. So we'll see. Can't help you oout Cheryl, as I don't watch American Idol anymore and haven't for years now. Mostly because honey doesn't like shows like that. My girlfriend made reference to it in a post today, but I'm not even sure she said who won. I wouldn't tell ya anyway!! We had a plumber friend come over to see why the shower is leaking - they fixed it for a while, but told us not to use it for a week. The fix might last 6 days, 6 weeks or 6 months but it realy needs a new shower. I've been telling Rich to get it looked at months ago. Anyway, thank goodness we have a shower tub in the hall bathroom.Always something in a house that takes your money. I just talked to my son, and he had to replace the diswasher as it didn't clean well and the girlfriend got tired of washing dishes by hand. It to be about 12-15 years old, so it was time. We had a nice sunny day with temps in the 70's and no rain till the end of the week. So much work needs to be done around here, I'm thinking of hiring my friend to come clean the house right before I get totally well and having the rugs cleand after that.
