I sure hope this is our last cold morning.  I am almost ready for Summer, just 92 more days.  

It may be cold here this morning but it is a beautiful day and the sun is shining.  Welcome to a new season and a new week. 

I want to go outside and put out hanging baskets and plant some new flowers but it doesn't take long before I am running back inside.

Meanwhile at Selma Park around the Amon G. Carter Lake, my precious Wendy, sent me a video of all the deer across from her front porch in Bowie, Texas.  This is a still shot from that video.  

So for now, I will have to be content looking at these flowers in front of the TV just waiting to get to go back outside.  

Meanwhile the orchids, Easter cactus and anthurium, all fight for the little bit of sunshine peeking through the overcast of clouds begging for warmth to come through the window.  I am waiting to see the butterflies and hummingbirds return.  HAPPY first day of Spring!

Was a nice sunny day with a high in the 50's and not as windy as it was yesterday and last nite.  Rich took the daog to the vet and she came back with a good bill of health - is starting to get arthritis in her knees and we have go get her some cosoquin.  She even lost some weight as she was tipping the scales at close to 100 lbs..  We were suposed to go to wing nite to meet his brother and wife and several other friends at the club but he didn't feel too good so we stayed home and I made a small dinner.  Had a can of green beans that didn't taste right so we didn't eat them - never had a canned good go bad before, have you?  Hoope you have a good St. Patrick's Day Cheryl.  Do you make corned beef and cabbage?  We'll get ours frm the club and take it over to the Moose for our Friday outing.  Hoope you have a good St. Patrick's Day Cheryl.   Do you make corned beef and cabbage?  make sure you wear something green and don't let those little green men fool you into following them for a pot of gold!!!  Hugs, Wendy

It is time for Gunsmoke in our house!  Do you like the older shows on TV?  Hubby watches all of them.  

No one has more stories to tell than my Hubby.  We all love sitting around and listening to his true life stories from years and years ago.  

And most of his stories make you laugh out loud just like this picture.  Time to take your dog for a walk.  

Yesterday, I got a text at 6:24 am "I don't feel good, can you work today?"  I was there before 8 am and I shared my smile all day long.  While you are out today (we won't be because of weather) be sure to share your smile with others.

Isn't that the truth?  I know it works with iPhone and Mac.  A good restart just like we get with every sunrise!  

Oh, what memories that brings back.  My mom loved to get in the car and just drive... "We haven't been down this road before; let's see where it goes."  

I have the perfect place for all of us just to sit in the shade of my backyard (I wish) and just to enjoy the view.  Will you join me?  

What a view we have today.  Beautiful flowers to look at and can you hear the stream and the birds singing are bound to be singing praises too.
