We can all agree it is a beautiful time of year, even if I am sitting here shivering. However, we will be in the 80's all week after today and until the next front makes its way through Texas. I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Hi Cheryl - it was almost 80 degrees today and beautiful out. I was able to sit out on the porch for a while just soaking up the day it was so pretty. Much better than your cold weather!! I did put some laundry away and do some vacuuming and that's all. Made myself something to eat as Rich was at the VFW with his brother and stayed for a while after he left. I was surprised as it's Friday and he always go out on Friday nites. Guess after last nite, he had 2nd thoughts. So we are just watching tv. Going to the Outer Banks to have lunch tomorrow as our group didn't get together on Thursday. I've always wanted to go to this place, but it's expensive, as everything is over there. Rich never takes me over there so I'm excited to go. Have a good nite and a good weekend. Hugs, Wend
Love your Thanksgive page Cheryl. It was mid 70's today even though it rained earlier this morning. Just a beautiful day. Wish I could have spent more time outside, but wa inside doing things. Hope you have a great November. Hugs, Wedy
I am so happy that October is behind us. The colors in the sky are so amazing this time of year. I know my picture from the back porch isn't as colorful as professional photographers, but I never get tired of MY view!
Well Halloween is over for another year. We sat out at the end of the drive to pass out the candy this year. I'm sure the parents who wheeled their kids around in wagons and such appreciated it the most. I sat with the neighbor across the way - it gave me a chance to chat with her as they both are so busy, we don't get a chance to see or tal with them much anymore. She knows everyone and everything as she's into politics and the local realtor. I see you are all set up for Thansgiving, Cheryl. I'm sure mine will be changed in the next few days. Have a good rest of the week. Hugs, Wendy
Well the dogs went home finally at 5 pm. We thought they'd be here by 3 at the latest, but they got held up. The puppy is cute but not housebroken and the old dog is confused and is incontenient if not watched closely. Thankfully she sleeps alot in her kennel. Made hamburger soup tonite for dinner. Started chopping up all the fresh veggies early afternoon - onions, potatoes, carrots, celery, garlic and zuchinni.. Had some left over peas and corn and of course a can of tomatoes. Was packed full and so good. Rich loves soup and could eat it all the time. Do you get an trick or treaters where you live, Cheryl? We get lots as we live in a development and they are brought in by the carloads along with the kids that live here. We have over 100 or more. We'll be under the covered porch if it rains and if not, out at the drive to make it easier for the kids. Have a spooktacular evening no matter what. Hugs,
Now you know I love moon pictures, especially when they are orange in color. Can you imagine taking one as beautiful as that last one in Colorado? I hope you have a fun time dressing up and get lots of candy! Hubby has already been to the store and has his stash hidden. Thanks to Gloria for making my new tag.
