Hi Grace - hope you have been well and that you are enjoy the summer - wedll it is here anyway.  We've had several days of 88 degrees and next week we'll be in the 90s for about 5 days.  i'm staying inside in the AC.  I went to the surgone today for a f/u on my hip operation and I'm doing really good.  Don't have to see him for another year.  Have a good rest of the week and take care of yourself.   Hugs, Wendy

Good Morning Wednesday!  My day off and I will be outside watering plants this morning.  

I saw this picture and what memories it brought back of just over 20 years ago when we lived in South Texas.  I had a 3' tub planter of Bird of Paradise with lots of blooms that I left behind when we moved.  

What?  You left a plant behind?  Yes, I knew it would not survive in this colder weather.  It still breaks my heart.  

Now before that Texas sun beats down on us again today, I really need to water the plants I do have growing and wilting daily.  

After all, they are all lined up waiting for a refreshing drink this morning.  Then there is the grocery list that is waiting too.  

Seems like everyone in this house wants to be fed... dogs and humans alike.

Sunday is here and I will be working on Monday and Tuesday.  I was so busy on Saturday that I didn't get to visit each of you but I did post a bulletin.  

So it is a new week and I am still playing catch up.  Can you believe this is the last week of June and that half this year is over?  

When it comes to housework and trying to get things done that I don't like doing, I always want to run away.  

But then in the middle of grumbling, you look around and the Blessings just are all around you.  

Something so beautiful is right there in front of you and it puts a smile on your face.  

OK, it was only a flower and maybe a hummingbird too but they both put a smile on my face.

Dropping by to say hello.  Hoping all is well your way. All is good here and we are having some lovely weather. I will have the next 3 weeks off from work for vacation and I am so looking forward to it.  Always take a break this time of the year to rest up before the busy season hits in late August through December. This Tuesday is my last day off this week.  I will be at work for the next three days.  

Last day to check and see which plants need water and other chores around the house.  

Of course that means it is my last day to run errands too.  There is always so much on my list.  

So today I will put on my tap shoes and get after that list of things to do.  Do you have anything special planned?  

Now where is that list and where is the sunshine?  I really do need sunshine and Vitamin D to make it through the rest of the week.  Grace, I miss hearing from you had pray that you are healing and will be back soon!

Oh what blessings today brings!  Smiles and thankfulness are at the top of our lists.  

You have the choice to be happy or let something or someone change that for you!  

There is not one of us that doesn't have a mess going on in their life.  I choose to let God help with those things.  

While all of us have problems, all of us also have Blessings.  Choose to concentrate on the good things for which we are thankful everyday.  

If I don't like the first picture I take, I take another one and just delete the first one.  You know how I love pictures.
