Dropping by to say hello. Hoping all is well your way, and you have had an enjoyable weekend. I finally got 2 days off this weekend thank goodness. I was getting rather burnt out working so many hours. Money is good but at this point I would rather have the time off. It is always busy this time of year at work and more so this year due to the fact they can't get enough employees to get the work done. So, those of us that are working have to work longer to make up for the shortage. Anyway, it was a nice lazy weekend for me. Rained on and off most of the time so I just puttered around the house. Good morning & happy new month to you. I'm slowly running out of patience being patient for cooler weather. We've had 56 days of 100 degree temps being the hottest Sept. on record here but getting down to the low & mid 90's this week. Oh well when it does get cold will be wanting warm weather again. Soup is brewing in the crock pot for the day. The fall air is fresh and refreshing to ones nose. My how I love fall and all of its adventures. Hope autumn will stay for awhile but living up north one better enjoy all of it for winter is poking its nose around the bend. I believe I will have another cup of pumpkin spice flavored coffee to help me to enjoy this wonderful day even more. Smiles Gloria

Today my husband, John, and I released our 7th Giant Swallowtail butterfly. It is a huge female Giant Swallowtail butterfly that I raised from an egg. She has been happily flying around the garden while another Giant Swallowtail butterfly has been laying eggs on our orange tree and enjoying the nectar from our flower gardens. This morning, while I was collecting fresh leaves for our Giant Swallowtail caterpillars, I found a tiny caterpillar on our orange tree. The egg must have been laid about a week ago and somehow John and I missed it when we were hunting for eggs on the trees. Hugs and love, Ger
