Hi Marge, sending Tuesday greetings, the most sleepy day of the week. Zzzzzz "Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde Until next time Peace, Love and Rock n' Roll
A long time ago God had a great many burdens that He wished to have carried from one place to another on Earth. He asked the animals to lend a hand, but all of them had excuses for not helping: the elephant was too dignified; the lion, too proud; and so on...
Finally the birds came to God and said, "If you will tie the burdens into small bundles, we'll be glad to carry them for you. We are small, but we would like to help."
So God fastened upon the back of each bird a small bundle, and they all set out walking across the plain to their destination. They sang as they went, not minding the weight of their burdens at all. Every day the burdens seemed lighter and lighter, until the loads seemed to be lifting the birds, instead of the birds carrying the burdens.
When they arrived at their destination, they discovered that when they removed their loads, there were beautiful wings in their place. Wings that enabled them to fly to the tree tops and soar through the sky, closer and closer to God.
The burdens we carry for others, as well as ourselves, become wings of the spirit, lifting us to new places and bringing us closer and closer to God.
May you always Soar
in spite of your Burdens !
Love you bunches my friend. A wonderful day when i met you. xoxooxxoxo
Marge, I hope you have a nice new week. August will be here very soon and more warm Summer weather. If you stay in to keep cool, just entertain yourself inside where it is cool. Hugs, Nancy
Get set to embark into a brand new week. Are you ready? “Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.”-H. Jackson Brown, Jr. Until next time Peace, Love and Rock n' Roll
Isn't it wonderful that God never give up on and keep working and molding us for his glory and honor.
I am so glad he didn't throw the clay away and keeps molding us and making us into his likeness.
Jeremiah 18: The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
Oh Praise our most high God. He is so awesome. Have a blessed Sunday. Love you, Shirley oxoxox
I see my pulmonologist about every 4 to 6 months and most months I have to take a breathing test (I have to breathe out into a tube and then suck the air back in as best and fast as I can); this tells him how my lungs and bronchial tubes are doing. I see you said your problem is COPD while mine is asthma, at least that is what it has been for the past 20 or so years. I never quite pass the breathing test, but he says I am so close that he doesn't worry about it, just keeps a check on it. I also use Advair 100/50 twice a day and that seems to help. This time he felt I had aspirated some of the water I choked on, so he only suggested I use Mucinex 2xs a day for 4 days to try to loosen the phlegm some. So we'll see. Maybe you have a very mild case of COPD, but if it bothers you I would see another pulmonologist, because as we both know, our ability to breathe properly is important to our overall health.
WELL MARIA I REALLY HOPE THE PULMONOLOGIST CAN HELP YOU CAN I ASK WHAT DOES THIS PRESON DO FOR YOU? I HAVE TO GO TO A LUNG DOCTOR ONCE A YEAR FOR A CHECK UP BECAUSE OF MY COPD HE REALLY DOESN'T REALLY DO ANYTHING TO ME JUST ASK ME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY BREATHING THAT'S JUST ABOUT IT AN HOUR OUT OF HIS DAY ONCE A YEAR BECAUSE EVER TIME I GO ALL IS WELL AND THAT MAKES HIM HAPPY.
May you have a glorious weekend sharing your smile with everyone. These summer days have be breathtaking as the flowers from the flowerbeds show more and more flowers as the summer season continues. What a thrilling site to see and it warms my heart and puts a smile to my face. Do have a nice weekend. SMiles Gloria
I just hope that we both have a very good weekend and have some fun. I'll be going out to lunch with my son David and I am kinda hungry today. I want to do some reading this afternoon. Enjoy your day. Hugs, Nancy
