I am going to lunch at Subway with Dick, my brother's son is stopping by this afternoon for a visit, and we're meeting our son at Panera Bread for supper, so it is lining up to be a great day. Our daughter-in-law flew to Japan with our granddaughter and great-grandson to spend 3 weeks helping Abbie, who is pregnant with her second baby, so our son is on his own right now. He is going to miss Beth like crazy!
Happy Saturday, Marge. I am looking forward to nice weather this weekend....but maybe a few showers. Just gonna take it easy with reading and church on Sunday. Hugs, Nancy

HI JOE SO GLAD WE DIDN'T HAVE THAT MUCH SNOW AND THE LAST COUPLE OF DAY WE ARE HAVING SUNSHINE THE SNOW IS MELTING SLOW BUT THAT'S GOOD, BUT IT IS COLD. ANOTHER GOOD THING IS THE ROADS N THE SIDEWALKS ARE CLEAN I CAN GO OUT NOW WITH OUT FEAR OF FALLING AND THAT'S REAL GOOD.

Hello Marge. Had to come home today to take care of business. Going back tomorrow to spend the weekend with my girl. Yes that snow missed us. We got about one inch. There is still about 6 feet of snow in front of my house. That includes what was taken off the house roof the last week of February. Need warmer weather to do some melting. I've had a good day but it is cloudy with no rain and no sun. My son David and I went out to a catfish buffet for lunch and it was really good and satisfied me. I came home and did some reading. Now I think I will play some bingo on Pogo.
Hi sweet friend, having to get new computer glasses, so not seeing too good. lol lol They had to take them to put the lenses in them. I am getting new frames for my everyday glasses. They are so pretty. Will show you a picture when I get them. I am doing so good this week. Getting my strength back and also going to try and start therapy next week. that is really going tohelp me. My granddaughter gets married the end of April and I am so excited. I am doing so much better so I am a real happy camper.. lol lol We had a gorgeous 60 degree day. It was wonderful. I so enjoyed the sun on my face. Can't wait to see the Spring flowers. It is going to be fabulous. How are you and how is your weather? lots of love and prayers, shirley xooxox

Still loads of snow on the ground but it is gradually melting down. Warms my heart the surprises of April when you start your day and wonder now are we going to have rain or snow or the glorious sunshine this day. My how I enjoy all the four seasons. I'm glad you can get about now, but I still find it depressing having to look at huge mounds of snow piled up here and there melting ever so slowly. But then you would know that about me, for I've made it clear how much I dislike snow; it is so confining to old folks like Dick and me. It is a gorgeous day here, but temp still only in 50s; however, it is to go to 70 deg. here tomorrow and into the 70s on Saturday, with rain. Seeing that it is spring, you can guess our forecast for Sunday, Monday, etc. - turning much colder! Again! Boo! Next thing I know the temp will be in the 90s, and we'll all be roasting. Afraid some of us are hard to satisfy - HA!
So glad to know you can get out safely now. Still, be careful - no falling!
