I am trying to catch you at a good time on this beautiful Caturday!
I just want to thank you for all the messages, prayers, graphics, love and kindness you have shared with me.
I am still trying to take things slow, stay caught up on messages, and things around the house.
If I am not here for a day, don't worry, we just have an appointment or. something came up. I will still be saying a prayer for you. I am really doing very well and have never had any pain or felt bad at all.
I might even be hiding in plain site like Wendy's Bebe.
If I can't lift my arm high enough to be able to color my hair pretty soon, you won't recognize me anyway. I will be grey headed instead of red headed! Love ya! Blessings & Hugs! Pam
This is what I am trying to do. My advice, "Give It A Try"!
I took videos of some of our birds in the backyard as I sat in the sun letting the incision on my shoulder heal in the sunlight. Then I took a screenshot from the video to share a few of our many birds, the more colorful ones.
I had taken a few pictures of some of our plants that are blooming. My girlfriend from Lubbock and I were texting "Spring Flower" wars. I love taking & sharing pictures and I hope these make you smile. Have a GREAT evening. Blessings & Hugs! Pam
Barely made 40 yesterday. A few flurries in the morning but it all melted away. In the 20's this morning. They say should get into the 50's. Same story here for the storm on the weekend. Have to wait and see. That's great you have a nice supply of pecans.
All my test results from the hospital stay came back in the good range except for the troplini which can indicate a heart attack. The wonderful cardiologist said it could have been a stress attack from the heart rate being too low. Thank goodness my Apple watch notified me. I will do a stress test in her office but because I have a pacemaker now, it will be a little different than most do. We will know more in about 3-4 weeks after it is done. Thank you for all the prayers and messages. I hope to be back on a regular basis soon. I am still trying to catch up at home. Blessings & Hugs! Pam
I just wanted you to know that I have a 2:30 appointment today with a "new to me" cardiologist. I don't know what to expect yet. I will send a more updated history after today if at all possible. Those that have my phone number know that if I can't get back to my computer, I will text an update.
The pictures above are from this morning that I hope you will enjoy as much as we did. If you saw the crescent moon this morning, we were both looking at the same moon.
Thank you for all the posts, pictures, prayers and love you have sent. Blessings & Hugs! Pam
There is bacon in the potato soup I'm going to try too. It's for cooking in the crockpot. Not sure when exactly I am going to make it. I think I need a couple ingredients yet. I'll let you know. Made it to 50today but is in the 30's now. So far no snow. They said it wouldn't be much anyway.
Happy Spring! If these were in my yard, there wouldn't be a leaf on them. The wind is terrible.
I hope to hear something about my computer tomorrow. We will see.
If you read the bulletins posted, you know I was in the hospital. I went to the ER Sunday morning. On Monday afternoon, I had a pacemaker put in. Happy St. Patty's day to me. I want you to know that I had almost NO symptoms. My Apple Watch told me 3 times early Sunday morning that my heart rate dropped below 40 beats for over 10 minutes.
I got home Tuesday afternoon. I am doing fine. Wednesday I spent getting things caught up like paying bills, going through mail, and getting the APP for the pacemaker finally set up.
I hope this is Thursday and I get it sent to each of you. Thank you for the prayers and love that you have shown. I am working on getting strength built back up. I hope some time soon to be able to send my daily emails/posts.
Happy Monday/St. Patrick's Day!! Hope you are having a good start to the new week. Been raining here. Praying for all those affected by the severe storms that have been causing such destruction. Take care, and stay safe~~~ debijo
Sunny and 61 currently. What a beautiful day. Looks like great weather all week. They say a 70 degree in there too. Good luck at your appointment tomorrow. You'll feel a lot better afterwards. Good choice for dinner. I'm going to make some spaghetti and meatballs. I buy those frozen meatballs. You can cook them with the sauce. Easy.
Hello, happy Saturday (caturday)... Good to hear from you Gayle, glad you are doing ok. And yes I understand the Winter boredom, just not much to do in the cold gloomy weather. But thankfully Spring is right around the corner to brighten things up a bit.
I do hope you are having a good day. Nice and sunny here, which always makes the day better. Rain may be coming back by Wednesday and sticking around for awhile (sigh)... Take care of yourself and enjoy the rest of your weekend~~~ debijo
This Saturday the rain showers are heading our way! It is the perfect day to rest, relax and recover.
Take a run at something you haven't done in a while.
Look for the beauty all around you. Find something different and share it.
Always share your love with others. Someone out there may really need it.
Be a blessing and share some of your kindness with them. Say a prayer over them. It will make your Saturday better too!
At the end of the day, don't forget to set your clocks forward if you are changing to Daylight Savings Time. You don't want to be late for church tomorrow.
I know what you mean. Last Olive oil I had a heck of a time getting it open. Same with jars, I got those helpers and same with me. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. A dusting of snow here but sure is cold! I did see a good warm up next week. However the next three days will still be awfully chilly.
Good Thursday Morning! It is still dark and cold. In just a few days, the time will be an hour later and it won't be quite as dark.
We will have to stay up later to catch the moon coming up. Are you a night person?
Or are you an early riser and one who doesn't get to see the moon in the middle of the night?
I am both! I love watching the crack of dawn as the sun comes up and to see all the different colors God paints in the sky. I also love the night and all the stars.
I don't need as much sleep as the "average" calls for. So I am giddy with excitement that we lose an hour and have more sun later in the day.
No matter if you like mornings or late nights, I pray for you to have joy in your heart!
Hi Gayle, I haven't seen you around for quite awhile, is everything ok? Hope you are having a nice weekend and maybe enjoying a little nice weather. We had a few days of warm sunny weather then the rain came back again last night. At least it was nice while it lasted. Hard to believe it is March already. Time sure does fly. Spring is just around the corner, and I am looking forward to it.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, take care, and have a wonderful week~~~ hugs, debijo
Roosters just can't resist saying "Good Morning, are you enjoying the sunshine?" "Where is our food this morning?"
The word is out and spreading fast that you are here to feed all of us!
"Good Morning, snort, snort!" says Wilber or Big Daddy. I am heading for the cool water on the ground as soon as you scratch my neck. ( I can only take so many pictures on FaceTime but that is where he went.)
Good Morning Mamma Charlotte! Do you need some love too?
Oh and Good Morning Momma Molly! I know you miss your babies but they all have such good homes with kids who are loving them!
One more trip around the yard to get your exercise. Now start looking for bugs to clean up the yard and enjoy the warm sunshine to make your day magnificent. Yes, I was sweating by the time I went back inside and it felt so very good!
I love taking and getting pictures (I know you can tell) and sharing my most wonderful memories with you and I love to go back and look at them often. I hope you have a collection of your own to warm your heart! Blessings & Hugs! Pam
