WELL... I know we are not the coldest place right now but our temperature dropped 25° in 10 minutes. We started at above 50° this morning and we are now 14° feels like -4°. We have had 40-50 MPH winds with a steady 25 mph or higher. And bubba, for Texas, this is extra cold for December as we are usually 50° to about 82° on Christmas. Even in late January and February we are not this cold. In Mexico City it is 72° right now, as it is just about year round! Did I mention that I don't like cold weather? When I got home from work today, we took warm water to the chickens next door (babysitting them) as their water is FROZEN and will be until sometime hopefully on Sunday. At least I am off until Tuesday. Only 87 days, 6 hours, 44 minutes and 21 seconds until SPRING... but who's counting.
There is a difference between dogs and cats. Dogs will lovingly pose for pictures and let you dress them up. Cats get scared when the Christmas tree just falls down and they want to show you love.
No matter what kind of Christmas tree you have or the size of your tree or if you have no tree at all, my prayer is that the Star of Bethlehem shines on you and your loved ones not only at Christmas but all year long. Thank you Jesus for all my friends, family and especially for your LOVE!

The seminar/Christmas Dinner was wonderful last night. We had 23 clients there. The guest speaker from American Funds or The Capital Group was awesome and everyone seemed much more at ease over their investments after he spoke. The food was very good at Texas Land and Cattle on the Lake. The Christmas tree and two Fireplaces were nicely decorated and very inviting. Oh, and the Christmas Music was perfect. I had fun visiting with our clients and putting faces to the names that I talk to on the phone. Hope you are about ready for Christmas.
I am off today but working a Seminar Christmas Dinner tonight for some of our clients from 6 to 8. Today I will go to work at about 4:30 pm. And guess what... tornado warnings all around us this morning. I just heard thunder and rain! It should be gone by noon. But what do I do right now, well, dance of course!
Sometimes rainy and dreary days without sunshine are just for reflecting and thinking. Our online sermons today were magnificent and it is a perfect day as I get the laundry done and prepare for the week ahead.

Even though we are 76° today and very cloudy again, I think it is time to take the Fall colors off. Ok, they were falling off and chipping because they have been on since a week before Thanksgiving.

We only had 2 hours of sunshine this week and not much more than that last week. Even the Christmas Cactus is looking for sunshine.
I am so overwhelmed at all the Birthday wishes... I can never remember to look at the birthday list and then to get to your page on the right day. I'm bad. I don't know how to act but I am sharing my Birthday Cake with each of you for your birthday whenever it is. It isn't really mine but I couldn't resist! However, the arrangement is mine. My dear friend, Paula, sent it to me from The Flower Box in Rockwall. She and I used to run and play and go dancing in Corpus Christi before Robert and I met. Friends Forever!
