I hope you know how much your friendship means to me. We had over 4" of rain the past 3 days. But this morning the clouds were breaking up and the sun is now shining. So I hope you enjoy my morning picture.
It is a cold and rainy day here today. The good news is the Texas Longhorns won the Alamo Bowl last night. More college football today and tomorrow even though I work tomorrow morning. Besides there will be more rain tomorrow and even though we shouldn't get snow, there is a slim possibility flakes might make an appearance.
Six more eggs were in the nest box again today and I am hoping that I will get that many tomorrow before my neighbors get back home. But I do feel sorry for the chickens in the rain.
What a year this has been! I think we are all ready for a new beginning. This last week of the year I am babysitting the chickens next door. They have 6 chickens and get 6 eggs a day. Can you believe it?
