Hi, We are having snow now and going tohave very extremely cold temperatures tonight. Below Zero Wind Chills. BRR... Hubby has to take a friend to the hospital for a MRI in the morning at 7 am. It is going to be so cold. Our Friend is a very elderly lady with severe pain so it is going to be so hard on her. Please Pray for her and my hubby. He took her to the doctor today for a fracture in her elbow. She is having so much pain with it. Wish it wasn't going to be so cold. Have a safe warm night. That's what I miss most about snow - making everythings so beautiful. In Jersey I often saw deer in my yard walking down my drive to go across the street, jump the fence or not and go find more to eat!! I miss that too. Occasionally we'll see a deer munching on the sde of the road.
Took honey out for his birthday dinner even though it's a little late. WI gave him a choice of one of two places I like to eat! We both choose the ribeye and it was sooo good. Then we went to the FVW and he had a few drinks. There was only a small crowd there and one of our friends who is in the Coast Guard so is presently not working due to the government shutdown. The place gave him a bag full of shelf staple food, and a couple of men gave him $100 to help him out. We told him about several food banks in the area so he doesn't spend alot of money on food. He was really overwhelmed and didn't want to accept anything especially money as he is proud. He's a really nice kid and everyone likes him and his girlfriend.
We came home and Rich had the last peice of his birthday pie and we are both happy and full. It was near 60 today and will be even warmer tomorrow. Hope if you are in the cold zone that you keep warm.
