Hi Cheryl - Sent honey off to the senior center to get the coasters that all of us made the other day. The woman had to put the glaze on them and the backings. I can't wait to see how mine turned out. Who knows if I'll ever use them but they'll be mine!! Would you believe that we had another thunderstorm this afternoon? It's a lot cooler here today too - high was ony 76 and it'll be a cool 63 tonite. guess I'll end up dressing in jeans and a long sleeved shirt when we go out tonite at the Moose with our friends. No housework done today but did have to take a nap and in a little while will make some dinner A chicken breasts, fresh tomatoes and a frozen potato/veggie mix. We can always get popcorn at the Moose for a $100 a bag. Have a good weekend Cheryl and have a nice time with yoour man!! Hugs, Wendy

Don't apollogy for telling me about your day Cheryl - how do we get to one one another unless we share our day - not just hi hello how ya doing kind of stuff. It's nice to hear you miss you hubby that much when he can't come home right away. Had anotehr thunderstorm whle we were out having dinner with the 'group' - seems like we get one every other day, but at least we arent' soggy and the grass is green. Honey mowed it early this afternoon. He loves doing that and that's about the only things he does anymore. Going to the Moose with our friends tomorrow nite as they are back from their vacation. It was in the mid 90's and HOT but it's over for now as we just got a quick thunderstorm pass over, so it'll be inthe 80's for the next several days so everyone can breath a bit easier. I went to the senior center and we made coasters - tiles with paint on them then after they dry - tomorrow - it will morph into different color schemes. We did nothing but put paint drops on the tiles - a kid could do it. But it was a chance to see everyone else. One of my friends there, was so upset and teary - so we talked a bit and she told me she got scammed out of a lot of money. I followed her home and we talked more and about a lot of other things, till she felt better. but I'm sure she'll beat herself up again for a while. Instead of wearing a tree, how about living in a treehouse? Do you think a permanent home in a tree would be fun or would it get old?
How about a vacation in a treehouse? Would it be nice to get away for a while and disconnect? I think it would depend on the view.
One of my son's friends, Doug Thron, built this tree house in California, I believe it was in the mid 1990's. He was an activist for the Headwaters Forest. He is now a very famous Drone Aerial Cinematographer who is now saving animals in Ukraine. You have probably seen his drone work on National Geographic (Shark week) or his videos on YouTube.
Hey Chery - I've been busy today as Rich left early this mornng to go with his brother to Raleigh, NC. It's about 3 hours away. His brother is getting tires there for under $400 for four of them - maybe $350. Guess it's worth the price of gas to go there and back. They are on their way home and he should be hee any miinute. I didn't miss him as I love it when he's away as I can do so much around the house. I did some more cleaning and put a load of jeans in the washer that are ready for the dryer. It's 95 or so today with the heat index of 101 or about that. Only walked out to othe back to empty some scraps for the animals, but i see they didn't eat the sweet potatoes I threw out the other day, so maybe I'll stop and pick up during the winter. Also put fresh food out for the hummers and watered the plants. Picked alot of ths creeping vine from the plants - got a lot of it too but there is so much more that are hidden. I've been picking it everytime I go out looking. Not sure about your plants, but I know the cukes like something to climb on but the tomatoes should be ok in a pot unless it's not big enough. Have you fed them? I know one year my hubby planted a tomato plant out back - we had a tiny space - and he fed it and the plant was huge. If you do them next year, try feeding them and make sure you start the early enough. Watching the Pioneer woman that I have recorded. Not much on tv. Already watched a Lefetime movie that I recorded earlier. Got to watch them while Rich is out of the house as he's not crazy about the mushy movies. Have a good rest of the day. I mean, after all, I spotted this tree first. And I really thought that I would have people staring at me if I wore it. Don't you agree?
Maybe this tree looks better on me. What do you think? I am so glad we are friends and I can trust you to tell me the truth.
I have been trying to stay away from bright colors like in this tree. OK, it might have been the lightning that I was trying to stay away from. But after 65 days with no rain, I might just have to throw caution to the wind. Can't wait to hear your suggestions!
Hi Cheryl..............glad you had such a nice visist and yes I know what you mean by getting back home - like Dorthy said - "There's no place like home".......your own things and knowing wherre everything is and just being comfortable. Richie's brother called and asked if we wanted to go out for breakfast so we said yes. It was close to noon so we ate the special of chcken n dumplings - it was ok but too much slurry in the broth aking it too gooey like - too thick. I've alays wanted to make some but am intiminated by the dumpling part. Tried the frozen stuff but wasn't crazy about them. It's 89 here so not too bad , supposed to go up to 92 - it better hurry if it's gonna make that as there isn't that much time left. Made a small pork tenderloin last nite for dinner and will warm up the other half we didn't eat tonite and find something to go with it. Have a great afternoon Cheryl and keep cool. Hugs, Wendy
Goodness it feels like fall is trying to come in . A smile is on my face. Cooler day and night temps and I am so happy. The tiger lilies are in bloom in the flowerbeds and they are the last flowers to show up as fall is trying to come in.

Do you EVER have one of those mornings? You know, you wake up to problems. Then several hours later you are finally ready to start your day and still need some coffee.
I guess it really started at 12:45 am. The dogs all decided to bark and run out the doggie door after waking up the entire neighborhood. Thank goodness I fell asleep early watching a movie and already had 3 hours sleep by then. Went back to sleep for another three hours after finishing the movie.
Ok! So now let's get this week started.
Monday Monday... so good to me!
