Thursday is a Blessed day. Amazing things are going on all around us every minute of every day.

It was a very hot day here and humid too. It's only going to get worse as the week goess on with the feel like temps reaching 106 on Sat. Sun. a cool front is coming thru and it'll drop to 84. I hope you have awonderful trip and sorry you won't be able to get to see your daughter. I know you go to get your hormone therapy, but I've never heard of what you get. If I'm not being too nosy, can you explain it? I have been on an Estrogen patch since I was in my 40's . Yes, August is a hot month but so is July. I was married July 20th 1968 and it had to be in the 90's that day. I about wilted as there was no such thing as air conditioning in a church in those days. I swept the kitchen floor then mopped it and also the dining room and powder room and our bathroom. I vacuumed the living room and will do the bedroom tomorrow. Those are the only two carpeted rooms. I have a load of clothes to wash tomorrow and I might dust too. Then I think the house will be done till another day. I also need to clean the hall bath since our new shower is in and done. I was the first one to take a shower in it tonite! So much more room and it's in the same space as the old one. Bath fitters did a good job. This was the last day of the install of the new shower. It's beautiful and so much bigger than the old one which really was a single stall. This will easily fit two people. I can't wait to get in it tomorrow! So tonite wll be the last time we have to shower in the other bathroom. Then I'll clean that all up. Just did a load of laundry and made dinner. Rich went out to have a drink with his brother and wife - I didn't want to go. It was in the 80's and 90's today and will be hotter each day till we reach 100 and heat index of 110. Not looking forward to that! Stay inside where it's cool and if you go out make it in the morning when it's cooler. I need to go to the store as my list is getting longer. Have a good nite.
We had a heavy downpour earlier today but the sun came out right after and has dried up almost all of the water. Had to wake up early - 7am - to wiat for BathFitters to come. We were told it would be anywhere from 7 to 9am. They guy never showed up till after 9 and he was alone. So far he has taken out our old shower and has put down the new base and is now putting in the green board walls. He'll be back tomorrow to finish up. Maybe the other guy will be with him as he was supposed to be today, but he called off. It was only 82 today so we are catching a break as far as the temps go but will be going up to near 100 laster in the week. Say happy birthday to your hubby for me. Hugs, Wendy
Sunday is not always a day of rest. But it is always a day for coffee and Blessings from God.
So today the fence should be sprayed with Wood Defender Cedar Color Stain. It is not cheap but I will be at work tomorrow to help pay for this so check the bulletins for my daily updates.
However, there are days that I am not sure I know anything at all. Do you have days like that?
Well, if you do, come on over. I will pour you a cup of coffee and we will sit on the porch and talk about solving all the problems of the world.
After all that is what friends are for each and every day, rain or shine or blistering hot Texas weather.
