Evening Cheryl - how was the beginning of the weekend for you. I had a slow day and just did some laudry and housework then started a new recipe that used leftover pork and it turned out so good. It was a real pretty day here although I was only outside for a few minutes. I think I'll take half of the casserole for dinner tomorrow at our game and take some garlic toast and dessert. Don't forget to turn your clocks forward tonite before going to bed or do like we do, turn them when we get up in the morning. Have been watching the Elvis special that was done back in '68. I was 18 and just been married living in Norfolk, Va. The show was on the PBS station and it is followed by anothe Elvis story on the same station. I am so excited to turn my clocks forward and have an EXTRA hour of daylight but I will probably look like that graphic each morning next week.
Oh wait... I am an old lady! Well, a whole lot older than I ever thought I would be anyway. Who knew we would live this long... and yet, yesterday I pushed the NON-self propelled electric mower around some of the backyard to get rid of 2' weeds before the rains came again. You should have seen or heard the huffing and puffing coming from this FAT OLD LADY!
Now the weekend is almost here and so is Spring Break. My neighbor and my girls are off next week. So let the sleeping late begin just in time for loosing an hour when we set our clocks forward.
Stop and think about that one. Oh my, I am so thankful for the things from some of my answered prayers. I am also so very thankful for some of the things I didn't get.

Hi Cheryl - it was another nice day here and will be Tuesday also - in the low 60's but calling for it to be breezy. Just did some housework and laundry then went to the men's VFW meeting - the women support the men and vice versa. Stayed for a while as we were having a good time. Have a great day. Hugs, Wendy

Nicole got first place in shot put very early on Saturday morning, so maybe it was worth getting up that early.
The week before, Michelle won 1st in triple jump, long jump and 100 meter dash and their team won 2nd in the 1600 meter run. So here is to SPRINGTIME and fun!
