The weekend is gone and it is time for coffee on this President's Day with no mail and banks closed.
I thought I would share a chocolate rose with you today. It looks like there is enough for everyone.
I wish my strawberry plants were blooming to go with our chocolate.
I love sharing! I will gladly try to share our rain, our warm weather, our sunshine, but I will give away our cold weather. We are going to start at 8° for two mornings and not be above freezing for several days.
Always remember you are welcome here where there is love to be shared no matter the temperatures outside (even when we are 100°).
Before we know it the Hummingbirds will be back and I can't wait to share them with you. I spend hours watching them from the patio.
Good morning/afternoon.. Happy Sunday!! Hope you are doing well and enjoying your weekend.. Mine has been rather lazy so far, hoping I can get motivated at some point before the day is over lol..
We got quite the snow storm during the week, haven't had this much snow for quite some time. On Monday it started snowing really hard while at work and as it was piling up we were all wondering if they were going to send us home. Finally they decided to shut down and told us to go home. It took me a good 15 minutes just to get all the snow off my windows so I would be able to see and of course my hands were frozen as I didn't have any gloves with me. People were having a really hard time getting out of the parking lot. I am so thankful that I had purchased an SUV with all wheel drive about 6 months ago which made it a little easier to drive in the snow. Had I still had my little Toyota Corolla I would have had a difficult time driving the 11 mile commute home. We had a late start everyday for the rest of the week and a lot of people called out due to the snow. At least by Friday the snow was pretty much all gone from the roads. Anyway, I just hope that is the end of it lol.. I'm sure many others are experiencing the same situation, so stay safe out there.

Somehow I missesd this note from you. Sorry you had to go the snow storm ordeal. That was was not fun :( Maybe your employer should have let you go a wee bit sooner. And yeah it must have been crazy the rest of that week. Glad that is over and you now have your nice 4 wheel drive for future snows :) We have had so much snow this winter and now we have snow, ice on top of that and now more snow. Layer upon layer. Somebody turn off the snow faucet already lol 🤦🏼♀️
Valentine's Day has finally arrived and it is FRIDAY too! We hit the jackpot and didn't even have to buy a ticket!

Do you make reservations for the evening? We try not to drive at night but in years long ago we would dance the entire weekend away.
