We had a little sun this afternoon but it rained all morning, heavy too, not just a drizzle. supposed to clear up tomorrow and Tuesday and give up some of that nice sun which I do appreciate at this time of the year.
yes I watched the veterans service on T.V. it was so well done and so many young people turning out , is just great .
I know what you mean about all the people that go to the craft fairs. I hate them but went with a friend on Friday night, the place was packed , started at 5:30 and we were ahead of time, plave packed and folks with their kids there who I am thinking we hungry and just helped themselves to all the goodies the lady had put out. big chuncks of cheese and breads, lots of little lemon tarts, i am sure the parents didn't have to feed them when they got home. Some things were nice but I found high in price. there was even re done furniture foir sale, Needless to say I didn't get a thing and was lucky to have a piece of cheese and a small bread to go with it. some parents don't have a clue really, just let the kids do whatever they want, running around and banging into people. won't go again. not worth it.
Hoe awful you had the new boots on Debi, I was reading the other day that the queen has a lady to wear her new shoes to break them in for her. LOL -- might be a good idea. wonder how many pair she has.
heard Trump went to hospital early this morning, don't know what that was all about. such a state of affairs down there, is disgusting I think.

happy mid-week, we have snow and it's pretty cold out...the wild turkeys were visiting this morning when i was filling up the bird feeders. they don't even run from me anymore...hope your day is sunny and happy...mk

Yes Veterans day tomorrow, I usually go to the services but won't this year. standing around for an hour is not to my liking as of late so will skip it this time and watch on T.V. In tribute I put my dear Uncles photo on my page , the least I can do.

Yes I am getting used to my hair now, every day that goes by I like it better and better. so do let yours go the way it wants to, coloring it is not good really after all the years I have done it and found out it wasn't what I should have been doing. Seems to be thincker now so I am glad of that.

Hi there Debijo, thanks foryour comment so osrry didn't get to you before and still have your last weeks comment sitting here. yes I had a great birthday and have decided to let my hair grow out and not coloring it anymore. Now I am white or nearly so. took me ages to get to like it but it is short and only curl it when I wash it. Yes son is home from Spain now, been home about a week had a great time but thought it would have been much better if they had only gone for 3 weeks instead of a month. Lots of places to see and ended up in Gibralter and could see North Africa from there. a lot of history in that area.I am glad to have him home to tell you the truth. halloween is okay as I don't get any kids around here as the building doesn't allow the children in here. I don't blame you for keeping your light off and after working I don't think you are really up to opening the door every few minutes. The dog woldn't like it eiither.
Your temps are alot warmer than they are here. Not anywhere near 70 more like the upper 40's , mornings are crisp and sunny afternoons. Hope that sun lasts for awhile yet. Yes moved the clocks back last night and up here the govt will bring in Daylight time permanently and hoping that Washington, Oregon, and California will go along with that. I hate turning all the clocks bach and forth all the time.
Sorry I didn't get to you last week, I just don't know what happened. but think I have answered most of your questions. I am looking forward now to Christmas and guess you have Thanksgiving next. Always a nice celebration down there. We had ours in early October.
Next for us is Remembrance Day so will go to the service on the 11th. long as it is not snowing or raining. getting to old to stand out in any of that.
Do you know they say not to rake your leaves and just leave them as they put good things into your lawn and the little critters that are around will live under them for the winter. !!!! we have a lot of that on our radio stations this time of year. So most do not rake up the leaves like they used to . Trees or not they still find your yard. !!!

Hello Moe, how are you doing? Hey, I'm getting to you pretty quick this time, how about that lol... Did you survive Halloween? Just another day here. I got home late and all the kiddies were out and about on the streets. I just came in and left the porch light off so no trick or treaters for me. Tobi just barks the whole time if he hears someone one outside so I would rather not deal with it.
No work this weekend, yippee!!!! Still working 10 hours a day so that is enough for me. That plus the weekends was getting to be too much, so I am enjoying having 2 days off. At least I did get a few things done yesterday so today just have to vacuum and maybe get out and rake some leaves. Funny how I don't have any trees in my yard but I end up with a bunch of leaves. Seems the wind just blows them right over to me lol... At least the weather is nice, sunny and around 70 so I won't freeze while I am outside lol. Has it warmed up a little there? It is still pretty chilly here at night. The day time temps are going to drop back down this coming week by about 20 degrees (sigh).
So, how was your sons trip? I'm sure you are glad to have him back home safe and sound. He is home now right?? Was thinking he should be back by now but you know I could be losing my mind lol.. Anyway, I should probably finish up on here and get a bite to eat and see if I can get a few things accomplished before the day is over.
