I survived the hot weekend, lol 2 cool showers a day & staying in air-conditioning, as much as possible, seemed to do the trick... Luckily we're supposed to have a much cooler week :)

sounds like you did quite a bit doing your rug, the blackberry bushes, and staining the steps . really happy to hear that fellow helped you out as we need that when we are older and especially when we are working full time. I will be so glad for you when you can retire and that time will go fast I am sure.

sure is warm up here today, the weather has not been great for June and the early part of July, not like usual. but today is making up for it. Nice to get out and have a walk. Hope you are back in the groove at work now and looking forward to your next holiday. LOL

This is one from a few years ago, this years haven't started with their blooms yet but it won't be long now. By the time the fruit (bananas) are about 5 in. or so in size it's time to cut the stalks back.
