Hi Debijo, thanks for your comment always good to hear from you. Yes, the weather has been just great here for the past few days. lots of sunshine but a lot of wind with it too. No matter love the sun as not too hot - as you know I don't like it hot. lol
did you cut your lawn today? so easy to let things go isn't it? especially when you work.
That was so nice you got some fish and chips and took to your Mother, I bet she enjoyed that meal. good for you. you are very thoughtful and I know she would appreciate that very much. us older ladies don't always like to go out and about so know how she feels.
I am going to Walmart this evening friend is going so asked if I would like to go along. I need to get some sheer curtain (panels) for my patio door so I hope they have them in the 86 inch size. will find them somewhere if not there. always find something at Walmart. I still haven't got myself a winter coat . look everywhere I go but no luck. Oh well will have to wait till the fall I guess.
what fruit are you packing now? the fruits will be rolling in , every kind you can think of I guess. will keep you busy,

got the last few annuals planted in tree stump bed this afternoon.. back sore again..least the rain has stopped and is 70ish, ground is so saturated so a few weeds were pretty easy to pull out too,
Ordered a froggie statue for tree stump bed from Amazon...pic looked cute.. hope is OK..
I was looking at fairy doors to attach to stump but they were all so small I didnt think they;d show up much so went with 9 inch tall froggy instead. should be able to see that OK from my window,, was 20 bucks,,hope he gives me some grins all summer for that! lol

Hi Debijo, thanks for your notes today, also your comment last weekend. So glad you have an extra day off today, just relax and make the most of it.
Weather up here has been great, sun most of the day then it clouds up aroun 3 in the afternoon and the wind comes up. too cold to sit out. Haven't done much this past week, but should be. at least got dressed and got out for a couple of hours. Ii have a few plants which I should be planting but you know it is still too cool especially at night for them to do anything at all. going for some more this weekend and hope they have petunias in now. looked all over for some lately but have'mt jad any luck. Don't know what the holdup is.
I had a lovely Easter Dinner with my son, a small chicken which I roasted and it had a lot of meat on it. did for some extra sandwiches which my son takes to work. He was off early today and already at the girlfriends place. Doesn't see her all week, gas is so expensive up here 1.71.9 a litre here - just add that 4 times to what I pay for a gallon. Told my son to take my car which is easier on gas than a truck. but he took his truck anyway. Oh well, may have something planned that I don't know about. LOL

I am trying to remember what you wrote on the last weekend and have forgotten along with the 2 you sent today.
Will be getting some company near the middle of May for about a week, which will be nice. always like a bit of company and he will give me a ride to Walmart etc. last time he took my car and washed it all for me. so don't mind a bit him coming. He is actually a friend of my son's but we get along great . so looking forward to that.
