Wendy shared a picture with us and I told her that it is more peaceful at her place than it is in our backyard. It is wonderful to see the new babies.
Another friend shared a picture of her son swimming with a dolphin in Cabo. He has lots of swimming medals from earlier in school but what a blessing this must be for him and his girlfriend as she swam with a dolphin too.
My friend in Lubbock is getting a new Standard Poodle puppy soon. She wants her dog to teach her niece how to be a Perfect lady. What a blessing!
Of course, I couldn't leave without sharing our blessings to have wonderful neighbors. We have watched Bennett grow up and now Livvy is 2. They both loved the Ice Cream Cart we gave her. She couldn't wait to lick the Ice Cream. Be sure to count your blessings every day!
Oh my, do the flowers dry out fast with day after day of over 100° weather. I hope the flowers have some scent left on this hot, dry Saturday.
This is the view each night in our backyard from 9 pm to 11 pm. The laser lights are set on an app timer to turn on and off each night. A couple of days after I first set it up, our neighbor sent Rbt a picture/video and asked him if he knew strange things were going on in our yard.
When you look off to the side of the tree, it looks like fireflies in the dark sky. It is very peaceful sitting on the patio and I can't wait for it to get cooler so I can sit out there longer.

Are you staying cool? It was pretty warm here for a few days, back up to near 100 but now it is back in the low 90's again. Goes back and forth.
Didn't have to work today, pretty slow week. Will have to go in either tomorrow or Thursday to do personal reviews on employees. That time of year again, they have to be done on the computer by the end of the week, then given to the employees by the 10th of August. Hopefully I will get a good one from my boss.
When will you be going to see your family? Or perhaps you are already there? Anyway, whenever it is that you go have a safe trip.

Hi there. I'm so tired of this heat we are having. And it isn't even August yet. That is usually a hot month with no wind. But I'm not ready for the cold weather either. I'm more of a Fall and Spring time person. I hope you are having a good afternoon my friend. Just wanting to let you know I have a doctor's appoinment Friday morning, which is out of town and we will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to spend the night, so I won't be on here tomorrow or Friday. I get this thing done called hormone pellet therapy.I get this done every 3 months and I have to go to a specialist that is 4 hours away. I don't mind the drive, it gets us out of town. We usually go and see our oldest daughter and her two sons. But this time we won't be seeing her as she and the boys have moved to Utah. She is getting married and having another baby boy in late Septmeber. I'm hoping we will be able to go see them in early October. Hopefully the weather won't be bad and we can go. You can never tell. I went to a thrift store this morning looking for cooler tops to wear. I found a few t-shirts that weren't thick or black. Not much else going on just doing the laundry. Sounds like is going to be in the 100's most of the week. Had a nice weekend. Saturday was my husband's birthday. We didn't do anything special. Just stayed at home.
