Good afternoon to you. How was your weekend? Mine was okay. Didn't do much. Just relaxed and stayed in where it was cool. Tomorrow starts a new month and I'm hoping it won't be a long and hot month. My goodness this day just started and it is now  going into the afternoon. The  Laundry is done and went to the store for groceries.  Now it is time to have a nice cup of coffee as I sit back and find that book that I am reading.  May you have a peaceful week  enjoying your moments .  Smiles  Gloria

We will be near 106° almost every day this coming week and it is too hot to eat Ice Cream, so I am sharing with you!

I hope your Sunday is a blessing and not scorching hot.  Sprinklers are going non stop here.  

Wendy shared a picture with us and I told her that it is more peaceful at her place than it is in our backyard.  It is wonderful to see the new babies.  

Another friend shared a picture of her son swimming with a dolphin in Cabo.  He has lots of swimming medals from earlier in school but what a blessing this must be for him and his girlfriend as she swam with a dolphin too.  

My friend in Lubbock is getting a new Standard Poodle puppy soon.  She wants her dog to teach her niece how to be a Perfect lady.  What a blessing!  

Of course, I couldn't leave without sharing our blessings to have wonderful neighbors.  We have watched Bennett grow up and now Livvy is 2.  They both loved the Ice Cream Cart we gave her.  She couldn't wait to lick the Ice Cream.  Be sure to count your blessings every day!

Oh my, do the flowers dry out fast with day after day of over 100° weather.  I hope the flowers have some scent left on this hot, dry Saturday.  

This is the view each night in our backyard from 9 pm to 11 pm.  The laser lights are set on an app timer to turn on and off each night.  A couple of days after I first set it up, our neighbor sent Rbt a picture/video and asked him if he knew strange things were going on in our yard.  

When you look off to the side of the tree, it looks like fireflies in the dark sky.  It is very peaceful sitting on the patio and I can't wait for it to get cooler so I can sit out there longer.  

You know you are invited to come on over and sit with us anytime day or night.  After all, time is flying by so fast.  Say goodbye to July and to our younger days!

Friday is here and it is a good thing I am still off because my "need to get done" list is NOT completed yet.  I am working 4 or 5 days next week.  

What a wonderful feeling when someone around you does something nice and totally unexpected.  I hope you encounter that today.  

Or maybe you are the one that said something nice to a stranger or even someone you know that was having a tough day.  

Practice, practice, practice kindness and it begins to just come naturally.  Believe me, others notice it!  

The next thing you know the day is over, or the week, or the month and you have had a smile on your face all this time.

Thursday is a Blessed day.  Amazing things are going on all around us every minute of every day.  

Have you been to the beach this summer?  Just watching the waves go in and out and the clouds go by is so much fun.  

What would you do if you saw this happening right in front of you?  Ok, I wouldn't be out there like that, but it would be a site to see.  

When you go to the beach, do you ever wonder what is really down there?  Or are you a scuba diver?  

There is nothing like a Mother's love.  Have you seen Koalas in real life, like in the zoo?  Or have you been to Australia?  This is so Sweet!  Share the amazing things all around you that put a smile on your face.

Hi Moe, just thought I would pop in to see how you are doing.  Glad your son made it home safe and sound, and I am sure you are enjoying every minute of your time together. 

Are you staying cool?  It was pretty warm here for a few days, back up to near 100 but now it is back in the low 90's again. Goes back and forth. 

Didn't have to work today, pretty slow week. Will have to go in either tomorrow or Thursday to do personal reviews on employees.  That time of year again, they have to be done on the computer by the end of the week, then given to the employees by the 10th of August.   Hopefully I will get a good one from my boss. 

When will you be going to see your family?  Or perhaps you are already there?  Anyway, whenever it is that you go have a safe trip.

Hi there. I'm so tired of this heat we are having. And it isn't even August yet. That is usually a hot month with no wind. But I'm not ready for the cold weather either. I'm more of a Fall and Spring time person. I hope you are having a good afternoon my friend. Just wanting to let you know I have a doctor's appoinment Friday morning, which is out of town and we will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to spend the night, so I won't be on here tomorrow or Friday. I get this thing done called hormone pellet therapy.I get this done every 3 months and I have to go to a specialist that is 4 hours away. I don't mind the drive, it gets us out of town. We usually go and see our oldest daughter and her two sons. But this time we won't be seeing her as she and the boys have moved to Utah. She is getting married and having another baby boy in late Septmeber. I'm hoping we will be able to go see them in early October. Hopefully the weather won't be bad and we can go. You can never tell. Sometimes its still warm then or it can be freezing cold. Well I will go for now. Take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon and evening. Hugs, Cheryl
